Life at UBS

The Entreprenuership course is the mixture of financial skills with techiniques of operations and knowledge related to marketing and international business. There the mainly 5 main subject in first year and 2 reseach subject. The faculty members are highly qualified most of them have done MBA or PHD. Students are give research projects to understand the tools such as SPSS, review of literature. In first term there were 2 class tests, 1 mid term test and final semester exam.

In december of first year the summer internship process starts. The students get chance to work in big companies for 2 months ( may-june) companies like dabur, amexx ( and many more) visits the campis for the SIP drive. In the second year , in month of december the final placement drive takes place where all the second year students are placed, last year average package was 13.72 lakh and highest package was 58.5 lakhs which was offered by trident for HR profile.

The ubs fees structure is very affordable as the fees of MBA general, IB ,HR is apporx rs.60000 for 2 years, and EP- around rs 200,000. Chandigarh is a beautiful city yet expensive if student stays in hostel then monthly expenses could be around 10,000 other wise it can me expensive around 20,000. Ubs offers good placement opportunity, final placement as well as summer internship

Life at PU is good, students get a new experience at STUC ( famous PU spot) students can interact with other department students as well as their seniors. In PU there is AC JOSHI library which operated 24/7 plus they also have digital library which can be accessed anytime. There are many club and cells in UBS for placement, public relation ,alumni relation, environment & health and wellness.

Hostels are located in sector 14 of chandigarh, and inside the university itself. The hostels are allocated as per rank basis. The hostels need to he register online and fees and everything is done online. Fees for hostel is 4000 security (for 2 years) , 5700 + 910 per semester fees. The hostels provide the mess as well as canteen facilities.

I took CAT exam for MBA procedure, the registration was done online, the students either in their second year of graduation or after passing the graduation can fill the form,around 200,000 applicant filled the form. The process of UBS admissions started with online registration of RS.3200, and we need to deposit our documents for verification. The verification process should be changed to online verification as it will be more convenient.

Yes UBS does conduct GD/PI for there admission process. And it accepts only CAT score. The topic for GD were common topics and were easy to recognize. The questions asked in the personal interview were related to academics as well as related to knowledge. The basic general knowledge and whatever we have learn in graduation would be sufficient for the interview rounds
