The admission process included CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, MICAT scores(which is held twice and the best of two is considered), group exercise and personal interview. I preferred MICA over other colleges I converted as I worshipped this very institute as Mecca of Marketing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The student-faculty ratio is 19:1. The faculty has doctoral degrees and corporate and teaching experience of many years. There are three terms of 12 weeks each. The exams are held twice each term. There is a rural immersion program also in the course curriculum.
Placement Experience
The average placements hover around Rs.13 lakhs. The highest placement( domestic is 32 lakhs per annum(approx.) and international is around 58 lakhs per annum. The institute records a 100% placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are 21.07 Lakhs for two years program. It includes a residential charge. The fees if I were to opine is quite high in terms of ROI and if compared with other b-schools. The scholarship is offered to 20 students whose family income is less than 10 lakhs.
Campus Life
MICANVAS is the most exciting event at MICA. MICA looks like a fairyland in this event. The classrooms are large and spacious. For theatre enthusiasts there is Sankalp, The cultural committee is studio 7. The alumni body is MICAlumni.
