The college is quite good and has good faculty. The admission process begins in January and shortlists as well as GD/PI are conducted in March-April. ROI becomes a huge factor in choosing this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am inclined towards starting my own business so doing Entrepreneurship would help me learn various aspects of business and pave my path towards doing one. The faculty is well qualified and the exams are conducted timely.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers various internship opportunities for the students. The companies visiting the campus include EY, Outlook group, Tata AIG, Bajaj and many others. The students are also some internship other than summers for increasing their industry experience.
Placement Experience
The placement here is quite good with good packages for all (experienced as well as freshers). There is 100% placement with the highest package for 2019 being 53 lakhs and an average package of around 8-9 lakhs for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is generally no hike in fees at Panjab University. Even if there are the fees is very minimal and one can easily afford to do MBA here. The cost for the course is around 15 k per year for MBA general, HR and IB while for entrepreneurship it is around 1 lakh Rs.
Campus Life
This time Due to COVID the campus is not open for the students. The amenities provided are quite good as told to us by our seniors. There are main as well as a few social clubs in the college. Consisting of Business Cell, Placement Cell and social clubs such as hospitality, pr cell etc.
Interview Experience
Generally, A Group Discussion session is there. But this time due to COVID, gd was not conducted. There was a personal interview in which quite basic questions related to academics and interests were asked. The main criteria for selection are the CAT score.
