At the time i joined in this campus there is no entrance exam but from last few years onward it makes mandatory for all for MBA there is interview process to get seat.

LPU-UMS provide an easy access to course curriculum. Evaluation system at LPU consists of descriptive as well as analytical questions and is aimed at bringing out the best performance from students. As per the evaluation system presently in force, students are generally evaluated on the basis of two components End-term Examination and Continuous Assessment with weightage of 70-80% and 20-30% respectively.

Summer trainings, full-term optional / compulsory internships, ‘On-the-job’ trainings, study tours, and skill enhancement events and workshops are extensively integrated in LPU curriculum. They expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning in real life situations.

LPU set a new record on Day 1 by placing 610 students in 2015 and 550 students in 2016. This is a record for any university in North India. Tuition fee structure for college is absolutely feasible when it comes to hostel facilities room rent is some what expensive food fee is feasible hostel rooms consists of 4 types single seater, double seater, triple seater and four seater based on seater and choice of AC or cooler it depend hostel seats strength upto 20000.

Scholarship is offered on the basis of performance in LPU NEST in all the programs of the University. Details of LPU NEST-2017 for other programs will be released in due course.The university has set up a separate loan assistance cell to enable the students, at the time of admission, to obtain loans from banks with which the university has tie ups.

First LPU Alumni Meet of Jammu Chapter was held at Hotel KC Residency on Jan 10th, 2015. It was attended by 35+ alumni, all of whom are at top positions in govt. and private sectors. Over 30 alumni came to New York from all over USA to attend the alumni meet. LPU Chancellor and Pro-chancellor also attended the meet.

Examination System at LPU is highly transparent. End-term Examinations are conducted at the end of each term, i.e. once in a year for annual programs and twice a year for semester based programs.
