Remarks
The initial reason I chose to attend this college was because of the ROI, and also the faculty review. Now that I am in the institute I am actually really fortunate to have had the opportunity. The curriculum is very challenging and therefore the learning is of a substantial amount. I liked this college most because there were no exaggerations about any features and the placements were really good as compared to the fees. Some of the websites I used while looking for a suitable institute were CollegeDunia, CollegeDekho, Siksha, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty was one of the main reasons behind my joining this institute. There are classes of approximately 35 students and therefore a lot of attention is received per student. There are also one on one mentoring sessions held to help students grow personally
Internships Opportunities
The 4th trimester consists of the Summer Internship Program and the available positions are mostly from departments like marketing, sales, finance, operations, HR, etc. A group of students is assigned one mentor who guides them through the project report which has to be presented after returning from the internship.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements after trimester 5. Companies like Asian Paints, Deloitte, Berger Paints, Amul, Nestle, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, etc are a few of the many companies that visit the campus for placements. The highest package lies somewhere around 19lakh per annum and the average lies around 6lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very justified and charges for every area is very transparent. There are plenty of scholarships that students could get in various areas of qualifications. The institute does provide financial assistance and good placement opportunities.
Campus Life
There is a state-of-the-art library on campus and one in the hostel. There is also a vast reservoir of digital resources available to students for reference. Classrooms are well equipped with audiovisual aids and all other facilities required for carrying out effective learning. There are various clubs and innumerable cultural activities to participate in.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very affordable as compared to the area. The food is of very good quality and is very hygienic and tasty. The hostel registration has to be done in the beginning of the session itself. The locality is great and the availability of transport and other amenities is efficient.
Interview Experience
Yes in fact we faced all three. After having applied for the institute, there was first a round of group discussion and then a round of written aptitude tests followed by a personal interview session. The topics for these were more generalized because students from various academic areas apply to this course. I prepared for these rounds mostly by being up to date with the news, reading about general topics, etc.
