I gave CAT for getting into BIMTECH. The cut-off during my time was about 75-80 percentile for getting into PGDM IB.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion, the course curriculum is very well defined and neatly structured. We get detailed course outline and timeline at the beginning of each trimester, which helps us to plan in advance how to manage our time. Since I am a Marketing Major, I would comment about the Marketing electives.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college provides internships. The process of applying for an internship is similar to the final placement round, so in a way it gears us up for the real thing. The stipend ranges from 0 to 15000. Majority students end up doing an internship without a stipend. Companies like Nielsen, Adani Wilmer, Newgen Software and Adidas usually offer a stipend, with Adidas paying the highest.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario saw many positive changes during our time. But things need to be improved further. Still, overall the placement scenario is pretty decent. The Centre for Corporate Relations handles the placement process, and they are the guiding force and pillars of support for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In my opinion, given the facilities and infrastructure provided by the college, the fee structure is pretty feasible. Calling it inexpensive would not be right though, but it is manageable. For our batch, the total tuition fee was 9 lakhs, the hostel and mess fee somewhere around 2.5 - 3 lakhs ( I don't remember the exact figure).
Fees and Financial Aid
I am not aware about the scholarship or loan facilities offered, since I did not avail them. There are student loans available though, since I know few of my batch-mates availed the facility. But I would not be the right person to comment on it.
Campus Life
The campus life has been one amazing ride. There is a lot of diversity in the campus, with students from practically every state of India. Plus, the campus also hosts incoming exchange students from France, Germany, Austria and parts of Africa, among others. So there is a rich cultural diversity present.
Exam Structure
The exam structure has been very well defined. I would neither call it hectic nor chilled out. It was somewhere in between, where it made a lot of sense. 50% of the total marks are based on internal tests, class participation, practical activities and assignments, and the rest 50% are for the end-term exam.
