Remarks
I scored well in IBSAT and got a call from IBS Hyderabad. One of my friends told me that the academics are good and the exposure is also good. So I choose this college for my MBA. The campus is very good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed very well. There is a case study-based system and the cases are designed in such a way that it will provide an actual industry overview. The faculties are very supportive and provide every help. During placements time the faculties guides throughout. It is semester-based, 4 semesters in 2 years. The exam schedule is very tough. Every day 2 exams will be conducted and also internal exams are there. So overall in academics it is good.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are good. College makes sure that every student gets an internship. If somebody wants to get the internship on their own then they can opt for that. The internship is compulsory for every student.
Placement Experience
They try their best to place every student and n number of companies came for the placement but if you will talk about good companies so they are limited. Banks took a huge number of students from the marketing domain. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, PWC, etc came for placements
Fees and Financial Aid
I feel the fees are a bit high i.e 18 lakhs for 2 years. The internship is also provided by the college as various companies come for the internship with good offers. The internship will be for 3 months (feb- may). Job opportunities are also decent. The average package is 7-8 lpa and various banks also come for recruitment. So overall the experience is good.
Campus Life
The campus life is very chill. There are various clubs and you can join as many clubs as you can. There are various events that are conducted all over the year. The classrooms are well equipped with ac. the library is very huge and contains all the books. Trishna is the annual fest of the college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are very good. There are options for the hostels also, you can check for the common hostel or you can live in apartment-type rooms. The cost of an apartment-type hostel is a bit high but they are also very good.
Interview Experience
After clearing IBSAt there will be a GDPI at the Hyderabad campus. The topics depend on the current situation so for that you need to be up to date with the news and be confident you will be able to crack it. After the GD there will an interview in which they will ask questions like tell me something about yourself or will ask about your graduation etc.
