ITM Business School, Kharghar - Great career opportunities

ITM Business school, Kharghar is famous for students who want to pursue management in the Marketing department. The joining process will be based on GD and PI. They will accept all scores related to management exams like CAT, SNAP, XAT, MAT. Like every other college, our college too has pros and cons. The good aspects are the quality of education, top-notch faculty, different forums and other activities, good placement records. Few cons are like the college infrastructure is average and it is built in a small area and I guess people from Mumbai will not feel it as a con as they get habituated to small spaces. My reason for preferring this college over others is they have offered me a scholarship for my performance in GD and PI

I always want to pursue a career in Marketing after completing my graduation. faculty to student ratio is 1:20 Faculty has a good amount of teaching experience and there are few faculties whose teaching skills are top notch term exams are scheduled thrice in a year and it is very easy to pass in the exam when u don't crave for your grades.

I have got the opportunity to do my internship at IMRB Hyderabad. As I was interested in market research, It was my dream opportunity to get into IMRB for research. I have done my project with the NITI Aayog department, Delhi. The research was done on "Ease of doing business in India"

Students get eligible from the 3rd sem to the placements. We will initially have companies coming for internships and post completion of internship we will get to attend the interviews for placements. Companies like TCS, RB, Nestle, Hicare, Nielsen and others will visit for the placements. In our department, we will have 95% of placements every year. The highest package will be 22lakhs approx offered by Landmark group and average would be around 5-6 lakhs.

Program fees are like 8-9 lakhs at the time of 2015-17. We can observe a 10% increment YOY. I have received a scholarship of 1.5 lakhs and a free stay for a year for my performance in PI. Good placements for the marketing guys compared to the other departments.

Campus life is fantastic as we have students coming from all parts of India. we have cultural fests for all major festivals in the college, Tech fests and seminars are conducted by different forums once a month. We will get access to the digital library where we can get to read international publications. AC and Wifi are available only in classrooms. No sports. I was part of Macrino, the marketing forum of ITM.

Good facility to stay with all amenities. I got a free stay for a year. The quality of food is good and we get High tea every day in the morning and evening which rejuvenate our energies. The college hostel is near to the campus, it is hardly 5 min walkable distance from the campus.

My GD topic is related to the case study and they evaluate your managerial skills. PI is about my academics and family and how ill plan my career. I have given CAT and applied for this college with the same score.
