Remarks
University Business School is one of the top B-Schools in India for doing MBA. The college has various good aspects especially its ROI which is comparatively very good in comparison to other colleges of its level. The admission process begins in January while the shortlisting and GD/PI are conducted in March.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose MBA in Entrepreneurship as it is one of the good colleges offering this course. Also, the curriculum is similar to that of MBA general in the first year while options available during the second year. The faculty-student ratio is 1:4.
Internships Opportunities
The college offers various internships summers as well as winters. The companies that visit the campus to hire interns are top-notch such as TATA AIG, BAJAJ Allianz, E&Y, etc. The students also have the opportunity to take internships from outside the campus as well.
Placement Experience
The College placements are quite good in comparison to the money invested to do the course. Companies such as SBI, HDFC, Infosys, etc visit the campus to hire students. The average Package is around 9 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees at UBS Chandigarh are one of the most attractive factors for choosing it. Fees for MBA ( General, HR & International Business ) is quite low while MBA entrepreneurship is also low in comparison to other B-Schools offering similar courses. Various Scholarships are available for which brochures can be seen.
Campus Life
The Campus life seems to be good talking to my seniors.I still haven't visited the campus. There are a few clubs in the college which basically include core clubs such as Placement Cell, Business Cell, Alumni Relations & Public Relations.
Interview Experience
The basis of selection at UBS Chandigarh is mostly dependent on the score you achieve in the CAT exam as the college gives 85% consideration to the score. GD/PI is also conducted but due to COVID, only PI was conducted.
