I chose GCET because of its good faculty, modern infrastrcture and active campus life comapred to other colleges i considered. I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

This college is cheaper than other engineering college and provides a better faacilities at this price in this area rather than other engineering colleges. GCET have a bigger campus than other colleges, and provides a nominal placements opportunities and also which is comparable to other colleges. As a student need to learn various things on his own so there is no sense of paying high fees if the college does not provide valueable resouces and placements to you, so there was not a rejection from any private college for me, it was all my decisions. AKTU councelling process and management quota are two ways to get into this college.
