Remarks

The infrastructure of the college is very good, much better than other colleges of the same tier. The course curriculum is excellent and it covers both theoretical and practical aspects. However, the placements are average like any other tier 2 college. Admission Process- The CAT cutoff for eligibility is 80 percentile. After clearing the cut-off, the selected students have to appear for the 'Theme development round' which is like an extempore where the one-word topic is given and we were given 5 mins to speak on it followed by the personal interview. The reason to choose this college is the Return of Investment (ROI). The ROI of college is much better than the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I always wanted to pursue an MBA from a reputed college. Hence I chose this program. All the faculty members are having high qualifications like Ph.D. and are very much experienced in their respective domain. However, the teaching method completely depends on a faculty member. Some faculties prefer imparting practical knowledge while some faculty focuses only on giving theoretical knowledge. The faculty to student ratio is excellent. The exams are conducted very regularly. This program has a trimester pattern i.e. 3 semesters per year. It comprises CEE and TEE components. The quizzes are conducted and assignments are given very frequently (which comes under the CEE component) and at the end of each team, the term-end exams known as TEE are conducted. The exams are moderately difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

The internship roles offered by the companies that come in college are poor. They don't add any value to the skills of the students. Most of the internships offered are having nil stipends. Most of the companies visiting are startups. Many students prefer to look for internships on their own. The internship is good for marketing students and very poor for finance students.

Placement Experience

2.5

The final placements are quite average. The internships are very poor. The finance students are forced to apply for a sales profile that does not add any value to their skillset. Most of the companies which come for SIP do not even offer a stipend. Many students prefer to look for internships on their own. However, final placements are better. One can expect an average package of about 7.5 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very less as compared to the other colleges of the same tier. It is only 5,20,000 per year. Since it is a residential program, so it is compulsory to stay in a hostel. The hostel fee is a bit high but the living standard is good. The hostel has all the adequate facilities. The college provides good scholarship offers. It offers a 'Merit-Based scholarship' of Rs.1,00,000 per year to the top 30 students. It also offers scholarships to students coming from lower-income families.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The campus is beautiful and has all the required facilities. The hostels are very clean and all the adequate facilities are available. The college has an excellent sports infrastructure. The college is spread out in a very large area and has a large cricket ground. The quality of food served in mess is also good. The medical facilities are available all the time. All the required books and journals are available in the library. There are 24 clubs and committees of almost every domain in the college, which helps an individual to develop a lot. These clubs and committees organize various intra-level and national-level events. Every year in the month of January or February, a college fest is conducted.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are three hostel buildings. One for girls and two for boys. The hostel has good facilities. Both Ac and non-AC rooms are available, depending on the choice of students. Some rooms are with attached washrooms and rooms don't have attached washrooms. The menu of mess is changed frequently and the quality meals are provided.

Interview Experience

3.5

The CAT cutoff to be eligible to apply is 80 percentile minimum for Full-time program whereas 75 percentile minimum for HRM program. The selected candidates were asked to come for TD/PI round. TD/PT round was conducted in a single day. TD stands for the theme development round, in which we were given five minutes to speak for the one-word topic we got based on the chit system. The TD topics were- Speed, Buzzword, Trend, Knowledge, etc. After the TD round, a personal interview was conducted. The interview questions were very general based on a resume. However, it completely depends on where the candidates are taking it to. I was asked many questions about my hobbies.

The placements in my college are quite strong. Many reputed companies visit every year, offering roles across finance, marketing, HR, analytics, and operations. The placement cell actively organizes training sessions, mock interviews, aptitude practice, and industry interactions, which helps students build confidence and develop employability skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is hectic and keeps you busy. But the faculty is amazing. Geniuses of the country surround you. 5 sections 90 students each. FABM students study with PGP students for the 1st year. Electives are chosen in the second year. All schedules are pre-decided. The whole curriculum is tough but there is relative grading and thus you can pass if you give your best.
