Remarks

The admission process is very smooth and the merit list is declared on the exact date specified. Candidates shortlisted are called in for the CD/PI process and a helpline number is provided to guide through any issues that the candidate has while filling the form or of the process. Even after the admission, there's a dedicated aspirant relations team who guides you in getting acquainted with your college life in Bangalore very smoothly. The reason for preferring this college is because NM has a great brand name and associating with it has given me the opportunity to learn from the best faculty. We also got the opportunity to interact with industry giants who constantly come to the campus for leadership talks. The university focuses more on holistic development so one needs to constantly push themselves to be on the top of their game. Join here only if you are serious about learning and developing and not for just the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The faculty is highly qualified and the best part is that most of them have elaborate experience of working in global FMCG companies so when they teach, they include real-life examples for every topic. Students are given an open platform to ask questions and resolve queries. Term exams are only difficult if one doesn't listen in class carefully as they are not fully theoretical but are based on the application of the concepts taught in lectures.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The roles offered are great and various PPO opportunities are also floated under the marketing range. Some of the roles range from Market research specialist to Digital marketing executive and many more.

Placement Experience

4

We have 100% placements and talking about the marketing domain, a lot of opportunities are floated making sure everyone is placed. There are several FMCG and IT giants like Dell, Britannia, MTR, Accenture to name a few who visit our campus and hire extensively.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since our batch and also the senior batch hasn't encountered any fee hike, so this is not a concern till now for our college. There are several banks offering student loans and the fee payment process is very smooth and aligned.

Campus Life

4

We have numerous clubs and committees and proper interviews are conducted to get into the same. A lot of cultural activities and workshops keep happening but since we have our trimesters online, these events were conducted online and we get a lot of exposure through the same.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are state of the art and have a mess, wifi, hot water supply, and other facilities which are well distanced from the campus as well. But we didn't get the opportunity to visit it due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Interview Experience

4

Rather than GD, a CD or Case discussion is conducted where a real-life case can be having a business, general awareness, or government policy-based problem. This is followed by a panel interview where senior and highly experienced faculties ask questions about work experience, general awareness, and case-based personality assessment questions.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.
