Remarks
IET Lucknow is one of the most reputed colleges in UP. It is an autonomous institute under AKTU. It is has been performing hard for the last 4 decades and has a good alumni network in many MNC's. Before 2020 the admission to this college was through the state level exam(UPSEE), but from 2021 admission would be taken through the national level exam i.e. JEE MAIN. The seniors here at IET are really helpful they will help you not only excel in academics but also the co-curricular activities. The college has a good environment for the students who are preparing for GATE, UPSC, and CAT. Every year students from IET come up with good ranks in the above-mentioned exams. Many students also get job offers from PSU's. You can visit the official website for placement stats and other necessary information
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronics and communication engineering is one of the fields most in demand these days. The faculty-student ratio is also decent here moreover the faculties are highly qualified and some of the faculties have even studied from reputed foreign universities. There are 2 class tests before the end semester exams, which is easy to pass if you just listen to lectures only.
Placement Experience
The students are allowed to sit in placement after the 6th semester. The companies like TCS, ADOBE, BHEL, etc visit the campus each year. The highest package of the college till date is 37 lac. which was grabbed off-campus in Microsoft. The average placement is around 5 lac. and around 70% of students get placed as rest got for further studies. After my B. Tech I have the plan to do an MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The approximate fee of this college is around 1 lac 5 thousand inclusive of hostel fee. There is also a scholarship available for students with a family income of less than 2 lac. If the students get the scholarship then around 80% of the fee is covered in the scholarship which is transferred each year to the student's bank account. The placement stats of CS, IT, and ECE is around 70% as many students go for further studies.
Campus Life
'Encore' is the annual fest of IET Lucknow and 'Shauryotsava' is the annual sports fest of the college. The college is as much as any other premium college of India with all kinds of clubs rather it be for music, dance, drama, photography, social, etc. The college has all the books required by the student in the library. The classrooms are typical government buildings not to expect much from infrastructure. People here are awesome you will enjoy being in a hostel especially.
