Remarks

The infrastructure of the BBK DAV college (BBKDAV) is the best when compared with all the other colleges of Amritsar. The labs are fully-equipped with A/C and have the Wi-Fi facility. The medical facility is available on the campus. Regarding the sports, the students get every kind of support from the college and the faculty. There is a sports wing in the college, and the sports students get the sports quota seats in the college. The canteen food is delicious. I love spring roll, and I think every BBK student is going to miss it in future. I didn't face any infrastructure problem, as I said earlier it is the best.

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell in the college. Anurag sir, Jaspreet Bedi madam, etc, deal with this sections. From my batch, 30-40% of the students and seniors got placed in the different companies. The companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services visited our campus. They offered the different salary packages according to the job posts, offering 20-30K per month, which is good for the freshers. Around, 20% of the students got an internship from the college, and fatherless the students get the discount on their fees. The placement cell is helpful for the students, as they get their dream job while studying or before completing their course. The placement cell staff is cooperative.

College Events

The college organizes the different fest and events, and all the students participate in those events. In the youth festival, our college is the winner in most activities. The students are encouraged to do the extracurricular activities so that the student can study in the fields of their interest. Bharti Singh is a big example, and she is from our college. The college supports her to achieve the goal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, i was from commerce stream and the subjects in that were related to my field. I have a interest in accounting from the start when i chose commerce in my 11th. As everyone knows that Indian education system sometimes lacks the practical gaining but i took tally and other accounting practical knowledge during my study . Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the teachers helped a lot by giving remedial classes to the students for their preparations. The areas of improvement in teaching methods must be tht more practical exposure must be provided to the students because after their studies experience matters more not theoretical knowledge.

Overall it is a good university for who want a good collage life as well as study.

Placement Experience:

From the final year, students are eligible for placements and companies like Infosys, hp, and amazon visit to recruit candidates. The highest salary pakage is 20 lakhs per annum and the average pakage varies between 6-7 lakhs per annum. Less than 50 per cent of students get placements. My plan after my degree is to prepare for banking.

There are great reservation benifits. I did not reap them but my classmates have. There is no entrance exams or cut off. Something about my college.

BBK DAV college for women is a very good college in the discipline. Faculty was also very good. Many of timely activities has done. There are also NCC and NSS activities as well. After the completion, of course, they also give the certificates of activities participation. Also, placement cells came to college for students placements.
