Remarks

BBK DAV college for women is a very good college in the discipline. Faculty was also very good. Many of timely activities has done. There are also NCC and NSS activities as well. After the completion, of course, they also give the certificates of activities participation. Also, placement cells came to college for students placements. Canteen stationery is also within the college. Indication sign to go to each n every department is placed. The library is also big. Many types of books related to courses n other books are placed in the library.

Most of the faculty members of the college have done doctorate degrees. Cooperative faculty. Helps students understanding each topic carefully. With study, they also encourage students for other curriculum activities. They are very helpful.

Above percentage 50% all students can apply n go for the interview who are willing. Interview is taken acc yo companies selection criteria. Many companies can interact with college students. I've also given test for one if the companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is different for different courses. Only merit students and scholarship students can get less in fees. Also, the admission form price has risen by 250 or 500 every single year. Quota holders get admissions fast n served well.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is very good. Smart classes were also there. Various labs for students. Cafeteria canteen book shops are there in the campus. Lawns, the garden also has sitting arrangements. Parking is also there. All in all the college campus is very much good at fashion designing. Freshers party and farewell also held. Various functions are also performed. Eclosions are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum relevant. Provide with practical and theoretical knowledge. But needs some improvement with the teaching method. That is need of some projector in the classrooms. Besides this overall course curriculum and everything else regarding course is relevant and the study material for each subject available too.

Placement Experience:

6 sem students in 3 year degree program are eligible for the campus placements . Many top level companies have visited the college and offered upto 32 lakh per annum at once . I'm thinking of doing a professional course after this degree to get what i need in future

Being a new here i dont kow much about the placements here. But i saw a chart of the placement being offered to previous batch studens higest placement was 11 lakh per annum, and lowest was 4 lak per annum For ore placements u have to work hard and score a good CGPA to be eligible for placements. Students get less placements here After completing my degree i plan to learn some soft or tchnical skills that will be helpful for me in future

Final year student get eligible for placement, companies like wipro , kotak bank ,sbi , mahindra etc have offered placement for students of dav ,the highest placement this year was 7.5 lpa by to two students of bcom and average is 15000-25000 per month . According to em its 50% of students who get placement. My future plans are to go for mba which is not Available in dav or to give some interview and job based test

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly every course have different fee structure. As my course is BCOM so i think if you need to make some higher knowledge of commerce you should go for it because it can help you to make your overall basic knowledge good even if you don't related to commerce stream in 11th or 12th. the way of teaching in the collage is good but still some of the teachers don't have interest to teach their student in the better way. exam system in the collage is good and its difficuly level is moderate also its depend on the subject and point of view of the students

Admission:

Infrastructure lacks somewhere and furniture is not upto mark. No negative point leaving these mentioned points, already mentioned all the positive points, in extra Gym, boxing room, sports activities, stage programs, social activities are there.

AVERAGE LOCAL COLLEGE - Reality

There are great reservation benifits. I did not reap them but my classmates have. There is no entrance exams or cut off. The infrastructure of the BBK DAV college (BBKDAV) is the best when compared with all the other colleges of Amritsar. The labs are fully-equipped with A/C and have the Wi-Fi facility. The medical facility is available on the campus. Regarding the sports, the students get every kind of support from the college and the faculty.
