Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum provides deep understanding of various computer science subjects like data structures, digital electronics, database management system and various programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python. But still some things need improvement as per changing trends.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite affordable as there are various scholarships available for students depending on sports, merit position, etc. Cash awards are also given to the students for their achievements.

Campus Life

Campus life goes cool enough as there are grounds to sit and gossip with friends. Canteen has a range of eatables available along with sitting arrangement. A number of books and journals are available in the library to help students. Various clubs such as NCC, NSS ,etc. are there who conduct various events.

Admission

Admission process is quite simple as one just needs to fill an admission form and take prospectus from accounts office and have a counselling session to choose course. The notification for admissions is available on the college site.

Faculty

The faculties are well experienced and educated and provide knowledge to the students. They are always available to help the one in need or mentorship. They are quite friendly and easy going. They provide practical knowledge along with theoretical concepts.

A safe supportive college life guru nanak college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum in my course is highly relevant and comprehensive, covering essential topics that are in line with current industry standards. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its emphasis on practical applications , especially in area like physics , chemistry and mathematics which allign weell with my career goal . The curriculum is structured to provide a strong foundation in theory while also preparing us for real world application , making it an excellent choice for both job readiness and further studies . In terms for preparation for real world scenarios, the curriculum includes case studies , hands on project, internship opportunities that have helped me gain practical experience. This blend of academic and practical learning has been very effective. However, there is some room for improvement. I would suggest incorporating more recent advancement in technology would keep the course updated and relevant. As I am student of first year my exams will be scheduled from december , so I cannot say much about it . My exams are three hour long which I think would be enough for me and easy to write .

Mixed emotions but honesty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Difficultly level of exam are moderate though but the date being set is just not fine at all as syallabus didn't got revised or covered according to that . And I'm fine with the course that i chose because later it all depends on who has more skills to approach with rather than just bookish knowledge its also beneficial that they organised courses that later help in job interviews at cheap prices

A great college for all around development

Remarks:

Positive are a lot in my college first there is a strict anti-ragging policy in our college and it helps a lot in demotivating the ragging cause I have experienced this myself that ragging is not taken lightly here and it helps in the students cause we all know how bad ragging can get and here it's prevented.

Great college, Great teachers and professors all staff is very helpful.

Remarks:

College is cleaned. Rooms are very airy it would be good if there was an AC. But it is ok. Campus is cleaned and green. Canteen is not so good. They use to keep old food so sometimes there is stomach ache due to old food. Overall good college.

AVERAGE LOCAL COLLEGE - Reality

There are great reservation benifits. I did not reap them but my classmates have. There is no entrance exams or cut off. Something about my college.

BBK DAV college for women is a very good college in the discipline. Faculty was also very good. Many of timely activities has done. There are also NCC and NSS activities as well. After the completion, of course, they also give the certificates of activities participation. Also, placement cells came to college for students placements. The infrastructure of the BBK DAV college (BBKDAV) is the best when compared with all the other colleges of Amritsar. The labs are fully-equipped with A/C and have the Wi-Fi facility. The medical facility is available on the campus. Regarding the sports, the students get every kind of support from the college and the faculty.
