Remarks

The campus is small so there is limit to funds etc. but it is okay as you enter the college, you are in college and starts to enjoy it and you didn't notice the size of college, The other negative is that there is no play ground for students only court is for volleyball, badminton and for cricket there is a little tourgh

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

yeah its okay. College comes under Calicut university. There are 6 semesters comes under BCA. course duration is 3 years. 2 semester comes in a year. The one con is if you got arrears you have to wait for next year to write your exam and clear that arrear. like ways if you got arrears in last 2 semesters. you will have to sacrifice your 1 year. There is no campus placement. But the college will tell you when and where the placements is taking place. They also give the guidance, practice and test for securing a job in placements

Placement Experience

3

I have visited for the campus placements of TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, DELOITTE, COGNIZANT, The first step of placement is that the student who got a 60% or more in the exams are able to attend the interview, the second step is an aptitude test. the students who passed out will be callen for an interview. Every year in our college about 10-15 students got placed in different companies, yes institution take special steps to make the student to score good in aptitude and perform well in their interviews by conducting mock tests, special periods for aptitude and sessions with expertise persons and mock interviews etc

College Events

3.5

variety of Programmes and activities are taken place in college. but the fund provided by the college is less. but it is okay students tries to make it good as much as they can in the given fund Arts, Sports, Food fest, Annual days are conducted along with other programmes, As the college is a small college all the programmes and activities is also small, the fund will be less. but the main pros of this con is that almost most of the students in college can participate in programmes and activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is ok with fees structure when you compare with other private college, it is less but when you compare it with purely govt colleges it is expensive.but there is fees discount for students who comes under SC, ST, OEC categories. for OBC students there is grant for there. The students from 2017-2020 batch OBC students applied for it but still now they didnt got it

Fees and Financial Aid

I have applied for SEBC scholarship for OBC students and till now I didn't got it and I have completed my graduation but the students comes under SC, ST, OEC got scholarship

Campus Life

2.5

The college campus is smaller when you compare it with others but it is okay to be small. you can talk and make friends in the whole college.you can attend in many programmes and activities. There is parties in college but it is outside the college. comes to play a major during the college election. in rest of time it will be outside the college. but when it strikes comes. it affect the college, The gender ratios is females are more than the males in college when you compare cultural activities and programmes are conducted by various department and clubs like NSS, Eco etc are conducted

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No I have not opted for hostel there is no hostel in college campus. The college campus is much more smaller when you compare it with other arts and science college if you want to stay near college. you should have to rent a house near the college which may be to expensive

Alumni/Alumna

They help the junior students in many programmes, giving them ideas or ways how they conducted the programmes in previous years and senior makes their junior students programmes to more good than their by identify and rectifying the the negatives of their programmes

Admission

yes, I got admission through merit allotment conducted by Calicut university. college comes under university of calicut. but there is also management seats. for a course the half of the students are selected through allotment and the remaining are selected by management. The management seats are selected by the principal on the basis of interviews and marks

Faculty

3

There will be around 50-75 lectures. average of lectures will be around 25-30. They have atleast post graduated or m-tech graduated. As the college comes under IHRD. Lectures are taken by IHRD through a exam conducted by them. Also these lectures will be there in college only for 1-2 years. They are temporary. There is also permanent staff, They are will be Hod of departments They are good with their teaching skills. some of them is new in teaching college. It will be their first experience but also they make it good to their maximum. I can say that sometime student is also satisfied maybe

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
