My college experience

College management is good, they are always supportive, they are giving 50% reduction in fees to those students who are getting good marks, Principal is also very supportive.

I had taken admission after completing my 12 Science from Gujarat Board, we were not having any entrance exam when I had taken admission in Bachelors Engineering in Computer Engineering.

Course curriculum was designed by Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University when I was studying, currently course is designed by Gujarat Technology University. Course is better right now as compared to previous course because current course included subject which are more relevant to research level.

They provide internship for last year project in ARZOO company located in Gandhinagar and also in some other company, but stipend is not provided, I had done my User defined project, I had developed forum for company located in Mumbai.

I do not have data of how many were placed, there is off campus in LCIT college in which usually local Ahmedabad companies and some companies located in Mumbai and other location visit and offer normal package of 2 lac to 3 lac per anum, I am not aware which companies are coming for recruitment in college in year 2016, but you can easily get this details from the placement officer.

Technical event is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm in this college, many students from other nearby college also participate this event cultural program is also celebrated in the campus with lots of participation, Sports week is also celebrated with different sports such as Cricket, Volley ball, Tug of war and other indoor games.

Feasible, When I was studying fees was 35000 per year which has now been changed to 77000 per year. Every self finance college are having fees near this amount right now, so fees is not that much, it is feasible if you want to do engineering. If you compare with NIRMA it is taking around 1.5 lac fees.

Scholarship is given to some students according to government rules, but right now this college is also providing 50 percent reduction in fees to students who are scoring good marks in GTU, and those who are having 1st 2nd and 3rd rank.

Gender ratio was almost equal, there were no political parties involved, some workshop regarding disaster management, women safety were conducted, their were no religion castisem, all religion student are studying in college. Standard of education is also very good

Since I was not staying in Hostel, I am not that much aware of hostel facilities, but my several friends were staying their, they were saying hostel is good, mess food was also good, canteen was providing good food, overall food provided and other hostel facility was good.

Alumni meet is conducted every year, in this get together every alumni share their work experience, alumni students are very helpful they help junior students to score good marks in examination.

Mid semester exam are conducted by college and GTU semester exam is conducted by GTU. We are informed well in advance about the mid semester and other practical exams. Exam environment is very good, infrastructure provided is also good. They are Junior supervisor, Senior supervisor who are handling exam to be conducted in proper manner. GTU sends their own GTU observer for smoothly conduction of exam in this college.

Our Head of the department Mr. Satish Barot sir was very good, he was having very good subject knowledge, he was very cooperative, all other faculties are also good, they teach well. Every faculty is ready to help and solve your doubts anytime when you want, lab work is also done regularly.
