overall about our college

Our college is almost good but I felt bad about water availability for drinking in our college. Our management needs to focus on this thing. Water is essential for every living being. When I joining in 2017 the was 4 RO purifiers in the ground floor for students and faculties. Now there is only one. most of time it went off. We students suffers from thursty and we search water from out side of campus to fulfill our needs.

Our college positive is faculty teaching method and the fee structure but the negative remarks in our college is the placement and the hostel food system and the college infrastructure is small negative remarks in our college. overall it takes 7 out of 10. performance was good.

The placement. Our college started in 2013. our college needs some more academic achievement to attract more company's for placement. now we have 2 to 3 company's for each department for placement of students.

when im joing to our college as a lateral entry student, our college conducts a 2 day cultural program very well. unfortunately it was stopped in the middle of 1st day. one of our college student gets accident and admitted in the ICU. so we dont want to enjoy the cultural. and to help him to fast recovery. our principal V.M. Shanthi made this decision. we students accept her decision. And every department allowed to conduct 1 symposium and 1 workshop every semester. celebrations begins for students. it looks like a festival in college.

The fees structure is very low. because its a government college. As a new admission to our college a regular student could pay the fees of RS./9740, from next year they can pay only RS./6450. Handicaped students only pay RS./4450. Amount of RS./2000 is reduce if the student is a first graduate of their family. And we get state and central government scholarships too. Exam fees is just RS./150 per paper. And hostal fees is RS./5000 per year.

Yes, I have opted for Tamilnadu state governments backward class scholarship. the scholarship application was given to us by our faculty and the information should be pinned by our college notice boards and department notice boards. We fill the form and give attachments it requires and submit the application through our class representative to the college office.

Gender ratio of my department is 35 boys:15 girls. It depends upon the course of studying. Our college has almost genders. so many association have been in our college like "tamil mandram", "rise-up", etc. Extracurricular activies like NSS and planting trees, clean together are happens in our college each semester, labs are simply good, sports was given more importance.

The alumni association was formed and the life time membership fee is RS./1000 for each and every students. In past years, my seniors are so good to us, they help us, guide us in the events we conducted. They help us in subjects, academics and sports. They become our brothers and sisters. I miss them so bad.

I am a lateral entry student. I get admission though counselling based on percentage I get in my diploma. I have 84% in my diploma to get admission in this college. I have tried 2 times to get admission in this government college. Finally I'm a gcesian.

Faculty of our college always seems to be friendly. They clear and help us anyplace in our campus. They help us, guide us and well motivate us to improve ourselves to be better. Especially our HOD Dr. G. Saravanan he tries very hard in improving us and our college.
