Remarks

It's one of the oldest college of Uttarakhand and it's quite good choice to opt if you want to go for MBBS. And it has Pg courses too so it was kind of good thing if you want to get the exposure for getting a clarity of which speciality to pursue if you are thinking of doing PG after MBBS. And in back in 2016&17 the bond system was there in haldwani and Doon but now it's only in Srinagar college so it cost you around 50,000/per yr (tuition+hostel fees). Even though it's more than govt central institute. But it's okay, And college is quite reputed. And in future after completing your college you can easily earn that back.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Faculty is nice and in some subjects teachers especially pgs guides you a lot. But it depends on you, you need to self study at lot. But for doubts you can always approach seniors (medico moms helps alot)

Internships Opportunities

The stipend is low here in Uttarakhand you get 7500/month unlike in central where stipend is 23,000/month and in other states where stipend is 13-15k per month

Placement Experience

4.5

You can apply for JRship after MBBS or prepare for Pg or give other exams like give upsc if you want to become a medical officer. You can always approach pgs for guidance.

College Events

3

It's good but if your expecting it to be grand like aiims Delhi pulse then it's not that grand. but other wise you do enjoy yourself at that time. Like it's 2weeks long event, include sports events, then cultural events and lot more. And there is much drama and fun too.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel fees is 6,000/yr and in the girls hostel, double seater rooms are pretty big, and till 2nd yr you get double seaters room and usually you get single rooms after you go into 3rd yr. But if you are lucky, you might get single room in 2nd yr itself if you get directly shifted to interns hostel.

The autonomous WII of the Indian government, provides various opportunities in the wildlife science and sets a benchmark to a global level. It's not an easy task to maintain the reputation every year and being a place to top the list. Even the foreign students eagerly await to enhance their learning over here.

There's only negative things about my college. It's very hard to find any positivity here its like to find a coin in the sea. Infrastructure, Academics, Placement, Canteen, Sports Facilities, Extracurricular activities everything needs to be get done here. Everything seems incomplete & Management really is the worst part here.

Remarks:

My college provides an environment that is best for overall personality development. one negative thing I noticed that despite strict rules students indulged in smoking and drinking to great extent. After caught in such activities they were released without any strict action by posing a fine of 2000 to 10000 on them.
