SRM University honest review

college management is very nicely organised I never faced any kind of problem and they don't take much time to solve your problem. so, overall its a good college in this price range.

exam are taken every month which is included in internal mark. and an end-sem exam is conducted which is counted in external mark. course study is all about academic requirement if you want to do something different you need to study on your own but faculty are always there to help. college provides on campus placement to everyone until you are a very poor student(in academics)

Many good company come for placement some of them are: Amazon, CISCO, DBS, SAP Labs, HSBC, Google, Goldman Sachs,etc. it depends upon your marks that in which company you will get placed if you comes under average mark student u will get a mass recruiter

there is always some kind of function going in college You have to stay updated to attend those. At least 1 function you can see each week. there are road shows, dance shows, some kind of games. there are 2 most important function in an academic year : aarush and milan these are grand function. celebrities use to come in this event to entertain us.

Fees structure is 2.5 lakhs for course like EEE, mechatronics, etc but for CSE, Mechanical, Aerospace, ECE, etc they take 3.5 lakhs.for hostel it is 1.2 lakhs for non ac and around 2 lakhs for ac hostels. But students stay in apartments which cost them very less compared to hostel.

i have not opted for any scholarship or any education loan as it was not required for my and I was unaware of any scholarship. But if you have good academic career you can speak to dean and get fees reduced.

campus life is very fun you will have a great time if you are little friendly and you want to try new things. you can join any club and you can get tasks to do which is a real fun(if you are interested). You will come across many pretty girls and handsome boys, all over the country student study there so you will meet many different people. There is a great scope for sports if u are interested. there is all kind of scope for all kind of student.

I preferred to stay outside because ac hostel were costing around 2 lakhs and staying in any apartment is less expensive than hostel. It would cost around 1.5 lakhs and there is no restriction on anything and you can get food whatever you want as a cook will come and make whatever you want to eat. So staying outside is cheaper and better

some seniors are like big brother they will help in every situation and in academic they can tell you exact questions too if they were good in academic in there time

i got admission through SRMJEE. this exam is conducted by college itself at different venue all over the country. if you are having good rank i.e.around 10k-12k u will get admission very easily but for cse u need around 5k rank. there is a merit based admission for those who did not score good rank. I chose this college because it comes under top 5 private university in India and its fees is nearly same to my local college and its placement is far better then those. we all know that education of south India is better so it is also a reason for my admission here in this college. First I gave SRMJEE exam this is conducted around the time of jee mains so stay updated, then I got a counselling call from the college. I was having a descent rank and I chose EEE because I am interested in electronics stuffs.

Each faculty is having enough qualification for the subject they teach. They have Phd degree(or similar to that degree) on the topic they teach, so you can say they are experts in their subject they teach. All the teachers have at least 5-10 years experience of teaching. And beside that if you talk to them properly u r likely to have greater marks than others.
