Remarks

It is a Government college near Chandpara railway station. Tuition fees is too low. College teacher quality is very good. New established college. Practical instrument available here. In my district it's a nearby college from my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering available here. I select electric engineering because I am interested on it. If you're interested any of them then you can admit here by Jexpo voclet exam.

Placement Experience

Others college students get internship in 2nd semester. But it is a newly established college. So intercity is not available here. It will be available after some years.

College Events

College campus is too much good. The environment of the college us too good. Because it is in a village. Village environment is always better than town

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are so many opportunities for scholarship. Swami bibekananda scholarship is available here if you get 75%+ in exams. Others state GOVT scholarship available here.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not available there. Hostel is under construction. Near Chandpara station so many rented room. Rent of room price not so high. It is around 700- 1.5k

Personally I not attend any group discussion. In college group discussion, Interview or written test happen in every month. You have to prepare for this

Cons and Pros of choosing HIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is no doubt pretty outdated. Consider AI/ML for example you are not thought about any of the AI related topics, yes none . If you are looking for Ai regarding lecturs I will advice you to watch Harvad ML lecturs they are fantastic.

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Life at HIT Haldia - Simple ,Peaceful, Full of Memories

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario at Haldia Institute of technology is quite decent specially for the branch Computer science engineering student usually become eligible for on campus placements from sixth semester. Many well-known companies visit the campus every year like TCS Infosys , cognizant , Accenture ,PWD etc In last few years around 85 to 90% student students get placed. The average packages are 4 to 5 lpa, in 2025 the highest package is 75LPA , in 2024 it was 40 LPA in 2023 it was 33LPA. My plan after getting the degree is higher studies in very prestigious IIT or getting a very good placement

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

All About "Haldia Institute Of Technology"

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months
