MICA, Ahmedabad, also known as 'The School Of Ideas' is India's best college for Strategic Marketing and Communication. Being always inclined towards creative activities and marketing and to learn how brands are managed and created, and to convert my ideas into a brand I think, MICA was the perfect institute that can inculcate management and creativity through its unique pedagogy of strategic marketing.

MICA offers 100% internship placements every year. Companies offer exciting roles like Social media marketing, Marketing analytics, media planner, market research intern. Leveraging the in depth understanding of Marketing subjects from the first year itself, companies come to recruit for challenging roles like media strategy planning, growth hacker, market strategist, etc and many students are then offered pre placement offers based on their work.

MICA offers 100% placements for summer internships as well as final placements. Every year MICA has the industry's best FMCG, E-Commerce and Media companies visiting to recruit students. Location is slightly disadvantaged as compared to other established colleges near Mumbai and Banglore, but it nowhere affects the overall placement statistics due to the brand name MICA has built over the years.

Fees have been a concern for the last few years, but the state of the art infrastructure, as well as the quality of education, gives an excellent return on investment for the fees. MICA offers scholarships on the basis of academic and overall extracurricular achievements to selected students every year.

MICA has a wifi facility in the entire campus and provides other services like on-campus counsellor and doctor for the physical and mental well being of students.

MICA has a unique process for selecting which includes Group Exercise and Personal Interview. MICA looks for key qualities like creativity, leadership, team management, etc in its unique process of Group Exercise, which unlike Group discussions, consists of unique problem statement based on which the entire group has to work together to present creative solutions by allowing everyone to participate and bring out the best outcome. It may include activities like performing a skit to developing communication strategy or a rap song based on a few keywords given.
