Remarks

Collage management was supportive with no negative incident noticed...College was a foundation platform and hectic life and discipline was helpful in achieving success in real world...

Entrance Preview

I took IBS entrance test 2002.I passed with good score and also got scholarship eligibility.I opted for the collage given it course curriculum and case study based approach.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Best thing abt the IBS was the depth of course curriculum and the depth of the study content in house study material was possibly best zist of all the good content across various sources. IBS always gave more focus to case study and research based study which was unique to it at that time.

Internships Opportunities

College did offer internship but I had already finalized another company and committed to join for a specific project so went for that.I understand that all student were arranged SIP and MRP project and we're paid decent stipend..many students got placed in the company they did there project.

Placement Experience

3

Placement was almost 100% with all eligiblr students got placed in the area if interest or specialization...it my be noted that placing 100+ students is no mean a easy job in the initial years of IBS..Fee of the companies visited and took large no of students were ICICI, EValue serve research,IDBI,Karvy,Standard Chartered,DE Shaw,GTB Bank, TCS etc

College Events

3.5

We had multiple events in two years covering academic, business acumen, finance, cultural and fashion shows for all round exposures few of them were debate competition, business games event, stock market linked event and inter school competition.B est thing was that all the students were encouraged to participate in minimum 1 event of there choice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was feasible comparing to fees charged by other collage fee structure was including in-house study material so that was a bonus. also collage offer scholarships ranging from 20-40% of school fees depending on your initial exam score and regular performance which was a encouraging move for better study.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes as mentioned, depending on your entrance exam score and regular performance linked to CGPA students got scholarship upto 20-40% of the fees which was very good and unique of IBS..collage did had tie up with few banks like HDFC and Andrea bank for education loan..I did not avail any loan but got scholarship for the entire tenure..

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio was decent with good mix of boys (~60%) and girls(~40%)..also students from all part of India were to be seen..IBS environment was pretty open from gender, case and religion point of view with full freedom...collage used to have regular lab activity and student workshops.

Hostel Facilities

3

Mess food was average. college did not had own hostel at that time but did offer few tie ups which were optional..price of food in canteen was affordable.i understand later I. Shankarpalli campus, collage has a huge I. House hostel and multiple mess options..

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is active and collage also does 1 annual alumni meet..in addition to the same collage invites old students for guest lecture in area of expertise, mock FD and interview and all Seniors were supportive and guiding.

Exam Structure

Exam structure takes into account monthly test/case study evaluation, qrtly exam results and final exam results this used to ensure that you are engaged and prepared during the entire term instead of last min study and theories alone labs used to be weekly.

Faculty

3.5

All the faculty were approachable and given young faculty base, they were friendly and used to understand students prospective...most if the faculty had encourage formation of forum or studay circle if students were interested in learning deeper than the course curriculum...
