The Institute is the only engineering college in the region which is connected to the NKN. The academy provides another added advantage of well-developed infrastructure support of its various technical units and facilities like CSMT, which is a centre of excellence, TSU and so on. Admission of first-year M.P quota candidates is done by M.P state-level Counseling by DTE, Bhopal. Distribution of seats is done as per MP Govt./ DTE norms. Admission to the first year (BSF/CAPF's Wards) is done on the basis of marks obtained in Joint Entrance Examination. RJIT is only and first engineering college in India established by any central armed police force, which runs with the intention of Technology will not replace great teachers but technology in the hands of great teachers can be transformational.

I have an interest in Information Technology and I have the interest to learn more about in the world of computers. IT is the needs of everything, it is also one of the reasons by which I choose IT. There are almost 50+ faculty and 1800+ students on the whole campus. Our faculty are so qualified and some of them are qualified by IIT's, MITS, and other university's One of the faculty has qualified by BTU Cottbus, Germany. Many of them are already completed PhD in various field's. There is Mid-sem, internal, external, class-test and end sem examination is held on in the small interval. Sometimes the surprise test is also held by other faculty or principal sir. If you attend every class on the campus with full dedication then you will definitely feel all exams are easy and simple.

To make students corporate ready, the institute organises Personality Development classes for its students. The institute has a well-established department of training & placement, which comprises of a dedicated and experienced team. The objective is to provide training, Internship and employment opportunities to students in national and multinational companies. From the 4th year, the students are eligible for campus placement. Percentage of students getting placement varies company to company but on an average above 7.5 CGPA is eligible.

The fee structure varies from year to year and course wise also. I don't get any scholarship and Financial assistance till now. The institute has a well-established department of training and placement, which comprises of a dedicated and experienced team. Several reputed companies have visited RJIT and recruited a good number of candidates. Some of those are, CAPGEMINI, METACUBE, AUDI, HERO MOTOR CORP, TVS MOTOR, INDIAN NAVY, INDIAN ARMY and so on.

The institute is located in the most disciplined environment of BSF Academy which motivates the students for smart dress up, regular routine, physical fitness and obedience. There are so many clubs that are currently running some of them are- DSC RJIT, E-Cell RJIT, RJIT GEEKS, TEAM URJA and etc which is run by a group of students. The institute also has a state of the art central library having a separate and independent building which provides the conducive atmosphere for study. The library has been divided into different sections for its smooth functioning i.e Circular Section, Reference Section, Periodical Section and Digital Section. Opening hours:- Monday to Friday - 08:30 AM to 19:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday - 09:00 AM to 17:00 PM.
