Summer Internship

TAPMI is one of the top private b-schools in India known for its focus on experiential-based learning via case studies, live projects and simulations. The professors are extremely qualified and make the entire learning process seamless. The college also encourages participation in corporate competitions to ensure the holistic development of all the students.

The professors are very qualified and take an active interest in the students learning process. They encourage doubt solving and are very approachable. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Teaching method followed is generally case-based to enhance understanding of the concepts by relating them to real events. Regular quizzes, assignments and projects constantly keep the students on their toes.

Companies hire students for Summer Internship and offer great roles which ensure a good learning and overall experience so the students can apply the concepts they've been learning in class in a practical world and learn the nuances of corporate life. The internship experience helps crack the final placement.

TAPMI has an undaunted 100% placement record. During the first year, a lot of great companies visit the campus to hire for Summer Internship. A lot of students receive PPOs from these companies based on their internship performance. For the rest, companies visit in large numbers for final placements and offer a lot of different roles to every cohort. This year, owing to the pandemic, the entire process went online and was conducted seamlessly.

Fees are decent. Scholarships of 2.9 cr are available for students. Under the Dr Ramdas Pai merit scholarship, 50 students can avail scholarship of a total of 2.26 cr. Educational loan support is also provided.

TAPMI is a student-centric college with 21 committees and clubs, all run entirely by students. Each committee has a flagship event which is hosted with a lot of gusto and sees plenty of participation from all cohorts. Sports events are also held at the campus. All classrooms are air-conditioned and the college has state-of-the-art infrastructure which includes Bloomberg labs, finance labs, large conference halls and campus-wide wifi.

Hostels are good with single/double/triple occupancy. All rooms are air-conditioned and are of a decent size. The canteen is also good and has multiple vendors serving different cuisines. The campus also has a night canteen which opens near midnight and closes only in the wee hours of the morning.

The interview process consisted of a GD, PI and group activity round. Topics covered in the GD were mostly related to current happenings in the world and recent business news. PI revolved around background, graduation and a few other behavioural questions.
