Tapmi, Manipal Review

College provides 100% placements to students. Tapmi has a cutoff of 85% in CAT or XAT, followed by WAT, GD and interview rounds. College is offering 100% placements for the past 20 years. There are a lot of opportunities available for students in sports committees inter-college competitions, industry interactions etc.

Faculty are very good and have a lot of industry experience and knowledge. 100% attendance is mandatory and 4.4GPA is must to progress to next trimester. Despite college being very strict, you will get the "Learning for Life" experience in Tapmi.

Students get placed in internships on campus. A lot of companies varying from FMCGs to Startups visit Tapmi to provide students with internship offers. Many well-known companies like Gartner, Wipro, Deloitte, HP, Titan, Infosys also recruits students from Tapmi as interns.

Tapmi offers 100% placement to students with an average package of 10~10.5 lakhs. Some companies visiting campus are Deloitte, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, Future Group, MuSigma, Gartner. The highest package offered will be INR 20 lakhs.

Fees of the college are around 15 lakhs and hostel fees are around 3 lakhs. But Tapmi offers scholarships worth INR 2.9 crores altogether for aspiring students. Around 50 students can receive a scholarship worth INR 2.26 crores under Dr Ramdas Pai merit Scholarship scheme.

Despite our classes being conducted online, we did not miss a single event to indulge students in extra circular activities. Tapmi has different committees and inter-college competitions. Tapmi having diverse students celebrates every festival equally.

Since my process was conducted during the lockdown, there is no GD round for me. I had a WAT and PI. WAT topic is very general and in PI. I was asked to explain about my pas job, strengths & weaknesses and some general questions. The overall difficulty level of the process is moderate.
