Life in TAPMI

It was ranked as one of the best private B Schools in India. Average package was more than 11k. This college has a good reputation for its finance course. Admission process - included merit listing based on cat score then we had a WAT, group discussion, team building exercise followed by personal interview.

The course is very much appropriate in terms of topics covered in the syllabus of every subject. Also, relevant case discussions and simulations are included to make understanding better. Live projects are also connected by different companies which enable students to have corporate exposure while studying.

The internship opportunities provided by Tapmi are very good. companies come from all the cohorts and all the specialisations. Students get very good exposure in terms of internship. The companies also offer a handsome amount of stipend for completing the internship. Companies give the task to students to complete within the two months internship and if the students come out with a good performance they even get the PPI or PPO opportunities.

Placements of Tapmi or almost 100% with very deputed companies taking the students. The average package is around 11 lakh per annum the highest salary package is around 50 lakh offered by a company. There are some International placements also given to the students. The students are eligible to go for the placement process after they have completed the four terms of the studies. Internships are also provided after completion of one year of your education.

The fee structure is a bit more on the higher side, I.e., 700000 per year also hostel fees do not include either mess or electricity which in total makes this an expensive option. Apart from this, around 50 scholarships are awarded each year to the needy and meritorious students.

TAPMI has a very active social life in terms of clubs and committees. We have in total of 30 clubs and committee. College hosts multiple webinars and seminars such that the students can directly learn from the industry professions. TAPMI has to major fests DISHA and YUKTA where we have a business conclave along with many extracurricular competitions.

The cost of the hostel is around 1.65 lakh which does not include the mess charges and electricity charges. The mess charges and the electricity charges come to approx 4000 the month, which the students have to bear along with the annual hostel fees. The accommodation is good with ac in every room the quality of food is very good.

The selection process has GD and group activity. It also had a written ability test along with the group discussion round. I prepared for these rounds by following the current business and political issues. Also prepared for an elevator pitch to present to the interviewers.
