Entrance Preview

Amity University is having a seperate exam for their entrance they do not disclose any score actually but they will only sent a mail to intimate whether you are selected or not.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course was evenly distributed throughout 4 years for 8 semesters. as it was a bachelors course not much focus on research was given but we were having ample of opportunities to learn new technologies under the guidance of our faculties. As far as electives are concern we were havinh Digital Image Processing, Advanced automata and many more subjects like that

Internships Opportunities

No it does not provide internships. For campus placements many big name came starting from Wipro, Accenture, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and job opportunities are not very good but yes if you are good in academics you will surely crack it. Major recruiters are wipro, HCL,DEll Accenture, etc. Near about 70% students got placed on campus average figure offered by companies was 3 lakh per annum.

College Events

3.5

Generaly apart from any tentative event two major and compulsary event organizes in Amtiy One is Sangathan which is an anuual sports meet of the college where whole college competes in some sports second is Amiphoria which is a college fest where one can enjoy and take part in several activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of Amity is bit expensive . Fees is been charged on semester basis at my time we were having a fees of 65000 per semester with an increement of 5 percent every year. this is quiet expensive but current scenario fees would be much higher than this.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Most Banks in the country offer attractive education loans for students. For the benefit of prospective students at AMITY, we have tied up with premier nationalized banks Oriental Bank of Commerce and Allahabad Bank. Both banks give the following advantages to students applying to AMITY.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus Life: Brilliant, vibrant, beautiful, Extra-Curricular Activities: a whole lot and just awesome, Events: Right from cultural to technical to fun you get to taste everything, Students: From all parts of the country and some abroad students as well. Half of them are dudes or wanna be dudes gender ration almost equal.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel fee (without AC) is around Rs. 1,14,000. Availability for AC rooms depends upon first come first serve basis. This wouldn't include food. There is no mess system, you need to go to the canteen and pay for the kind of food you eat. The tuition fee depends upon the course you opt for which is semester wise. However, the hostel fee is yearly.

Alumni/Alumna

If you are looking for world class facilities and the ability to use them, you have come to the right place. AMITY has very good lab facilities and students are encouraged to use them as much as they can for projects (there's a caveat here which i'll get to later) and other non-curricular activities.

Exam Structure

Amity is currently one of the most high tech university of India. Labs are well equiped with modern day equipments and intrustors are also very helpful which will never let you feel as if you are in middle of a hectic day talking about exams pattern is fine which will not create a burden on students.

Admission

Aptitude - this will include current affairs, logical reasoning, indian history, few CS questions and maths will cover the maximum part. Essay Writing - a specific topic will be given to you and you will have to write a page on that particular topic. Your way of writing and your english would be considered here. Interview - this is the most important part that will actually decide your final selection.Your communication and basic knowledge of the stream which you want to choose would be considered the most.

Faculty

4

Faculties were good in Amity with some exceptions which we can find everywhere apart from that faculties are highly qualified.there were a good structure for selecting faculties also all the faculties had done masters.Being a computer science student i got chance to interact with faculty of programming languages they were having a sound knowledge of the basics and concepts which helped us in grasping the job.
