Actualy i didn't write any entrance exams. I got admited by my own. I was always intrested in science for a long time. When i finished my highschool i joined the college.

Education curriculum in nehru arts and science college is wonderful they are affiliated to bharathiyar university and they have wonderful teaching methods. Which explains the eventual success of this great institution.

Internships Opportunities

No. My college Nehru did not provide any internship programs when i was there but i think now a days they have a lot going on on this category.

Placement Experience

Jobs and placement facility in Nehru arts and science college is actualy wonderful. Because it jives us a lot of opportunity by giving us a lot of big and good companies to cjoese from. Thats a realy good thing because you get a lot of choice. And if have the freedom of choice i believe that we could make a great decision.

College Events

Nehru college celebration is a wonderful time as it feels like a carnival at those times. The Festivals are so much fun they really spend a lot of money on this festivals as much as they collect fees from us it is a good time when Nehru is at its peak at time of the celebration of September.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good as much as i know.i was not staying in one if i have to be truthful . But i know from my friends that hey have a great hostel facility in there. You can also find cheaper hostels outside the campus anyway the college mens hostels is outside the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they have a way to connect between the current students and the alumni. They have all their contact. And they conduct alumni meet and that sort of things.

Exam Structure

Examination and test in nehru arts and science college is actually nice . I don't ask us to mug up what ever is in the text book, it realy brings out our creativity to a great extent.

Admission

I got to know of nehru arts and science college as i saw a lot of advertisement in the streets of palakkad. I directly went to a palakkad branch for collecting the detiles. But to my surprice they said they would take me then and there itself. I didint have certificates so i went the next day and filled the forms.

The pros and cons of avinuty

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse,iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition,but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation,food making,food safety rules,food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals,practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

The placement will be happening for the 3rd year students who have registered already by paying 6000 rs. The topics companies like Accenture, TCS, wipro,etc come for placements. The highest package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I am opting for higher studies.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.

I found the course as important to gain something for the future works. Computer science provides us the detailed structure on what it is. They includes all the portion in 6 semesters. They provides us extra courses for learning. They also provides activities related to computer science for gaining extra knowledge.
