Remarks

This college is Naac certified and affiliated with Mumbai University. It is a well-known college in Mumbai. Dalmia College is also known for extracurricular activities i.e for NCC, NSS, STUDENT COUNCIL, CULTURAL ASSOCIATION any many more interesting departments. Its has its own annual fest i.e DALMIA LIONS UTSAV, and the main reason to take admission in this college is this.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I did choose this course because I wanted to have my career related to media industry i.e a Journalist. The faculty of this course is well educated each faculty having a subject degree and also book writer of this course. Each faculty is reviewed by the student at the end of semester. The ratio is 1:60. Faculty in this college are not just faculty but a mentor and an advisor too. For example, If a student is stuck at some point the faculty are always there to help. Each year has 2 semester for each semester:- 25 marks internals-75 marks external.

Placement Experience

4

As soon as you are about 18 the student becomes eligible for campus placement. Top Companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Teleperformance etc. Do come for placements drive. There is no particular package it completely depends on the student profile. The percentage of students getting hired or getting placed is approx 80%. My plans after getting the degree are to do a mastered course of my particular subject so that after getting 3 degrees I can be placed at a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for each year is approximately Rs 20000/-. As for the study material you can take books from the college library or any book shop for rent. The scholarship and financial assistance details are on the website i.e www.dalmialionscollege.ac.in This college has its own campus drive known as Job fair. Where well-known companies do come for placements I.e around 45 to 50 companies.

Campus Life

5

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses they have a lot of courses but they don't have any of the courses like with honours and they just have major and minor subject and they don't even have anything like new new invention they are testing on students like vsc new subject iks new subject OE new subject major minor new subject they have a lot of subject but every subject is waste of time .. teaching method is worst because they still teach through black boards and they don't even tell us what they are teaching they just come and tell about a topic and then started reading it and then class ends before it's time .

Placement Experience:

Students became eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester onward. Several renowned companies like ABC Corp, XYZ Ltd, and DEF Inc visited the campus, offering a diverse array of job roles. The highest package offered was around $100,000 per annum, while the average package stood at $60,000 per annum across various profiles including software development, marketing, and consulting. Around 85% of students secured placements in reputable companies. However, if campus placements weren't offered, many students pursued internships or sought employment through off-campus drives. As for my plans, I aim to explore internship opportunities in my field of interest to gain practical experience and eventually pursue a career aligned with my specialization.

The college is small but I don't care as the BMM department is superb. The best department in the college is BMM, so the quality is also very high. The campus is small, but the canteen makes good food.
