Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is pretty good. We studied Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. We had three Annual exams for the three year degree course including practicals. Each exam was of 500 marks.

Placement Experience

1.5

I don't know if it provides internship. But we had a campus placement by two companies. One was Tata Consultancy Services, Kolkata and the other was Vedanta Aluminium Private Limited, Jharsuguda. I cracked both the campuses and got selected. But i didn't joined TCS as it was a job of BPO which i didn't think it was what i wanted to do. In Vedanta Aluminium Private Limited i cleared every round and was even invited in the company to join but on the second day they said i couldn't clear the Physical Checkup (Eye Test) and was said to go home.

College Events

2

Annual Day, Essay writing, Poem writing, Speech competition, Debates, Sports Day which included both Indoor and Outdoor sports. Some art competitions like Rangoli Making and maybe Rakhi Making competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very feasible. Not at all expensive ( for the course i did). The fees is taken in three payments as Annual admission fees for the three years including laboratory fees hostel and mess charges if opted.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was not loan facility but scholarship was given only to students belonging to ST and SC castes. They were given stipend. There was no scholarship or loan facility for other students. It was all according to the government's reservation system.

Hostel Facilities

2

No, i didn't opted for hostel. But my friends did and from what they used say and i saw myself the condition of hostel and the rooms was very bad especially the bathrooms. There was no sanitation system was so bad I can't even describe.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. The senior students were very helpful and friendly. We used to organise many programs like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja , Vishwakarma Puja, Fresher's Party, Farewell Party, Teachers Day celebration etc.

Admission

I applied via CAF i.e. Common Application Form of DHE, Odisha for the graduation course. We were given the option to apply for three colleges of our choice for the subject we wanted to study. I applied for B.Sc. in Chemistry and got selected in Dalmia College, Rajgangpur.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• As I don't have maths so I have choosen this course for medical way for the future educational content and lab work. • They prepare us very good their skills and they approach in the lab practical is so good. • One one improvement as from mine is that they doesn't have some practical equipment and machinery for the working so I would like to have that to get that practical knowledge and for that they teach us theoretical for that kinds of practical. • Average the frequency and time for exam preperation is good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
