Internship opportunity are not given by the University

I did qualify for jee mains but did get my favourable branch. I got computer Science at Gautam Buddha University so I took admission here also it has very beautiful architecture. In my views, the architecture of this university is one of the best in Asia. The admission procedure is through an Entrance Exam. I got A.I.R 29 rank in the entrance exam so I got my favourite branch i.e. Computer Science as all students CS branch. Faculty are also helpful but the placement cell is not up to the mark as this is a government University especially in a state like UP so the teachers don't worry about students that much as they feel that it's not their job but actually it's their job. The administration of this university is also not good but students help got ample time to improve their skills. Hostels facility is Excellent as each student is allotted single room. Overall choose this University if you are not able to get your favourite branch.

Placement is improving with the years passing as many MNCs and start-up takes part in the placement drives. The average package here is around 3-4lakhs and the maximum package here is more than 10Lakhs I don't know the exact figure. Students from technical branches are almost placed somewhere but many go for off-campus placement.

Fees structure is affordable but the hostel is compulsory for all professionals courses. Scholarships are also there offered by the state government of about 60k for students but there are few terms. Merit-based scholarships are also there for students. Earlier there was a student exchange program as well for students who want to study a semester abroad but the grant for that was canceled by the government.

Campus life is not up to mark as I am from Delhi and I have seen colleges and universities but Gautam Buddha University is not up to the mark. It is a very large University spread across 500+ acres. The annual fest is known as abhivyanjana, there are many student clubs/societies but many times students did not know when the auditions are happening. There is a shopping complex which is nice and also has a PNB branch. Many facilities are there in this university.

The hostel is compulsory for all professionals courses and the hostel mess is also nice. There is a fixed menu for the mess. The hostel is excellent with an internet facility which is great and each student is given a separate room with a balcony. Each corridor has around 10-12 rooms and the electricity and water are 24hrs here. The hostel facility is great here
