Entrance Preview

I got this college by qualifying AIEEE all India exam which takes place every year for those students who wants engineering. I got 82 marks.

Internships Opportunities

In my college internship is available for those students who wants to do any college of the country like iit, IIM, iisc bangalore. My college also giving an opportunity different students for internships in foreign which is too excited and more adventurous.

Placement Experience

In my college placement is very good for computer science students and electronic and information technology students the students belongs these branches get placement of about an average of 7 lakh per annum .Which is very good but for core branches like civil mechanical electrical there is very few companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college scholarship is granted whose belong to reservation category like sc/st/obc and also loan facility is available for those who are not able to afford their expensive.

Campus Life

In my opinion gender ratio is good like 1000:700 I think which is good in point of view engineering government college. There is lots of laboratory in my college and my college campus is too large there is lot of playground for cricket hockey football basket ball volleyball and also a big sports complex is available.

Exam Structure

In my college three times exam take place in every semester minor 1 which is equivalent to 20 marks then minor 2 which is equivalent to 20 marks then finally major exam take place at the end of the semester which is equivalent to 60 marks so total marks is 100.

Admission

I got admission in this college by qualifying AIEEE all india exam which is very difficult after got selected in AIEEE exam there is counselling should be take place .In which we fill the college which we want and according to their rank college and branches should be provided to the students.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Nice college

Placement Experience:

After completing the four-year degree, the college does provide placement, but I don’t know much about it yet because I haven’t seen many companies visiting the college. So far, I’ve only seen four or five companies. There aren’t any major companies coming in. Also, when placements happen, it’s unclear how many students got placed, how many didn’t, what the packages were, or what the highest package was. From what I’ve seen, the placement seems to be average at best.

The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

I do not have the detailed knowledge about placements of our college but i guess 900+ companies visits yearly in our college and almost every student gets placed. Big companies and MNCs also comes in our college to hire. 90%+ students get placed. I will going to have a job after getting the degree and will not go for higher studies.

College provide us opportunity to sit in campus placement from 7th semester. There is number of companies visits in college like vipro, redhat,tcs etc. Highest package is 20-25lack per year and average is 5 lakh.my plan is to get directly campus placement.
