BINAYAK PRIYADARSHI's Review On GITA Autonomous College - [GITA College], Bhubaneswar

I took OJEE and got 9932 rank. Gandhi Institute For Technological Advancement is a well known engineering college and especially mechanical in GITA is really high quality. So I chosed this college.

Mechanical engineering at GITA is always a dream for students. The workshop is of high quality. There are 10 lathe machines which are in working conditions. Most important thing is CNC, which is also in GITA. Other laboratories are also in working condition.

College provide summer internships on merit.Students have done summer internships at NALCO,HAL,Nilachal Ispat and many more.

Placements is 100% GITA. It has a tie up with Infosys. Apart from this there many MNCs like wipro, tcs, tech mahindra that recruits students from GITA. For core branch students companies like Triveni turbines, Gurunanak forging comes every year in he campus drive.

GITA Celebrates also national festivals inside the campus.Apart from this there are annual sports meet and robotics.Annual function is one of the most attractive function in GITA. It organises several blood donation camps and also participate in SWACHHA BHARAT AVIYAN.

The fee structure is 1,35,000 INR in first year and 1,25,000 INR in last three years. This includes both tuition fees and hostel charges. Though its a little bit high but it is manageable. The tuition fees are 70,000 and the hostel fees are 60,000 approximately.

College provides loan facilities in reputed banks. Metriculus students are provided scholarship . Even if some Students get their whole tuition fees as scholarship.

The gender ratio is almost same. Coming to the campus life,it is the most awesome place inside the campus. There us DJ Nights in every saturday evenings. In sundays there is outings.As it is an engineering college, so there is no students party or politics.

I admitted in GITA through OJEE rank. There was a choice locking process before the admission. I have choosed GITA as a no 1 choice. So I got the first chance in this college. The admission process took place in july 2013.

The faculties are very high qualified. There are many faculties who have done phd. Coming to the teaching experience, they have atleast 10 years of experience. They are always ready to clarify the doubts of the students. Even if some faculties who stay inside the campus ,clarify the doubt in the evenings.
