hi friends, I am studied at the university college of science, Osmania University.I am prepared for Osmania university's common entrance test, I got to rank 35 ranks. At Osmania university, we have several specifications in physics discipline as solid-state physics, material science, electronic and instrumentation, nanoscience, astrophysics, astronomy, and geophysics.I want to do research in semiconductor physics so i want to choose solid-state physics, in the first I got a seat in solid-state physics, Osmania university.

my specialization is solid-state physics, at the department of physics, we have a well-equipped lab and all teaching faculty are well qualified as professors, and the lab was very efficient. yearly we have 2 semester

Class Size: 600Course Fees: INR 20500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Based on the joining courses they provided internships, in my course, few people are interested to get internships at several institutes, and geophysics and astronomy students are having an internship in 4th semester

we have campus placement facility as teaching sector and lab charges as so many are get placements at Aakash,fiitjee like institutes,so many get research associates at various labs also, and salary is 4.5 lakhs per aum

Osmania University has so many grounds in the campus area.We have a central library facility to get books and prepare for all exams and also we have reading hall at the library, university consists of several colleges and every college have a library and gym

Hostel Facilities

We have a hostel for every student in the university college, there was hostel separate for the girls and boys and separate hostel facility for seniors and juniors also,at mess food was high genic ,we have wifi facility also at hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

Interview Experience

yes,we have a written test as objective test for the admission into university ,at university we have only few limited seats as each course have may be upto 100 seats only,in the entrance who got best rank as getting seat they will alloted to the university

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.

I love my college

Remarks:

If I want to rate my college overall then I will give 9 out of 10. Except for some foundations like a hostel, students will not be allowed to leave campus after 10 pm and girl students must enter in their respective hostels before 11 pm. Management is supportive and fast.
