ISME - A MANAGEMENT STUDENT'S DREAM

Choosing ISME was an impartial yet obvious decision. Out of all the colleges I applied for ISME had the most supportive and helpful admission support team and had the most professionally conducted interview. ISME offers individual attention to each student even during online classes. Also, the experienced faculty is always available to clear doubts and offer assistance.

Both the teaching and the non-teaching faculty are highly experienced in their respective fields with seemingly endless patience. The faculty also has international exposure and varied experience in their fields. Their helpful and friendly nature especially helped in the transition to online classes during the pandemic lockdown. We were offered training sessions for our online classes and exam to offer smooth and precise functioning. The exams were also conducted in a timely manner after the completion of the course and various revision sessions.

We at ISME are offered an international internship at Singapore, exploring the various partner universities and their campus and curriculum. Along with that finance, students are also offered a summer internship opportunity at the London School Of Economics(LSE). Along with these we also of summer internships at top companies to ensure practical learning.

The fee structure for programs offered at ISME is higher than other universities but that is highly justified given the various opportunities offered including study trips and the international internship at Singapore. According to me the only drawback of ISME is the lack of scholarships and financial assistance offers for non native students.

Despite the Lockdown and online classes we have had various fests and competitions virtually. We recently had a talent hunt and fest with dancing and singing were a lot of my classmates displayed their special abilities. We also have various social clubs and study clubs like communication club, entrepreneurship cell, social responsibility club, finance club, etc. We were provided with books by the college via courier because of the lockdown and even that was done in a very safe manner adhering to the social distancing and sanitization norms.

The admission process was very easy with the guidance of the admission department staff, I was required to register and fill the online admission form and then I was given the details for an online interview following which I uploaded my documents and paid the course fee. Due to the coronavirus lockdown, the entrance tests for various universities were impacted but ISME stepped up to the occasion and was successful in conducting smooth and flawless interviews virtually. The interview conducted for me was very professional and the interviewers asked very precise and intelligent questions. The questions asked during the interview were aimed at my interests and expectations from the course and also my expectations in my professional career.
