Remarks

The infrastructure of our college was quite satisfying as the things available here were in good condition. Moreover, labs were provided and installed with the latest application software. I am a local student, so I do not know about the hostel facilities more, but they seem to be satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers taught us in such a way that we can understand the difficult things easily. They were not very friendly but helped every time. They have a lot of knowledge, highly qualified, and they use the best teaching mechanism. The course curriculum is helpful to some extent, but it was not very professional.

Course Fees: INR 50900 per year

Placement Experience

From our course, a total of 45 students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The rest of the salary packages offered are medium. The top recruiters for our coarse were civil companies. The top roles offered were a manager and a teacher. None of the students got internships.

I chose this course because it was fascinating me. The scholarship scheme was good, and extra activities were also conducted here.One of the best colleges so far students have equal chance to excel in academics as well as in sports and other creative fields. Very Good and supporting staff help the students to understand the topic even after classes very personal approach. Nice and well maintained class room.

Daviet is one of the best college in punjab

Placement Experience:

7th semester is the time when a company comes for an interview, The main company comes was Infosys, All try to hand offer letter from them. Only 30 percent person got them. There were many good companies visited and I got placed in one company Aon.

If we work hard then definitely we are going to be successful in our future.

Placement Experience:

Placements are very good here maximum students are getting placed in a cse branch and offered with a very good package many students are getting internships in their 3rd year or before the 4th year. Many good companies are coming in our college like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, wipro, TCS, Jindal, Flipkart, Amazon, Google, bajaj and etc. The highest placed gone last year was approx 15 lacs per annum and the lowest placement was gone approx 3 to 4 lacs per annum.

Remarks:

Having all facilities which is required for journalism students. High profile studio room pcr room and lot of saminars are held in a year, having good cameras for shooting and lot of documentaries are made every year for media fest in various parts of the India.

Till 2018 only 2-3 companies visited the campus but now the training and placement committee has been set up and provides a lot of opportunities for the students to get placed in companies.

Remarks:

Faculty members are great in all the perspectives, they understand their responsibilities, overall college is doing good in all the fields, but there is one negative comment from my side for college is the organization system of the college in the Admission dates and in last fee filling dates. Students have to stand in the line for whole day for filling their pending fee in last days. So they have to think about that. Otherwise college is great.

Exciting Journey at DAV college, Jalandhar

The college has a good reputation in the city and it offers different courses for many streams. Teachers are quite supportive and the overall infrastructure of the campus is in good condition like the library, canteen and also washrooms are clean and hygienic.
