MY ISME EXPERIENCE

ISME Bangalore is a very good college. I chose this college because it was situated in Bangalore and also because of its positive reviews. The also college gives a very peaceful atmosphere and very good hostel facilities. It has a very friendly faculties. The only bad aspect about the college is that its mess offers only vegetarian food and its unpopularity in Bangalore. The admission process of the college is very smooth and efficient, the college has a very friendly admission and IT department. Admission happens in June and July and if selected you will have an orientation in August. I preferred this college because of highly qualified faculty and the ROI it offered compared to other colleges. The placement offered is also decent.

The course curriculum is very much updated and for the current market scenario. The course of PGDM is reviewed and made with help of IIM Bangalore professors. It is updated annually and its teachers are very much helpful. The course also offers international exposure by its Singapore trip. The college has very strict rules in its academic and exam patterns with no deviations entertained. PGDM Programme has a Trimester system and in each sem, there are 2 exams (Midterm and End term).

The college provides internship assistance to its students. There is an internship drive which happens every year in the college. As ISME Bangalore is member of NHRD last year about 20 companies visited the colleges for internship drives.

Students are eligible for campus placements from their 4th semester onwards. The companies which visit the companies are Axis Bank, Bosch, TCS, HCL, Bata. The placements are average and it provides decent ROI. The highest package offered last year was 9Lakh and the average was 6LPA.

The cost of the course is Rs 790000 including the Singapore trip and excluding the hostel expenditure of the college. The college offers scholarship to students and the expenses are affordable. I took a loan for the expenses and the expenses are affordable as the ROI is good.

We didn't get an experience of the campus life yet because of the unexpected pandemic. But before the pandemic, I visited the college and the college has a very good infrastructure. ISME has very good classrooms, a library with a very vast collection of books, a good hostel for both girls and boys, games area and also yoga practise for its students. We also have 4 clubs, Communication, Literary, Entrepreneurship and CSR club. ISME is member of NHRD and it also conducts various fest life IgnitoBuzz, BusiBuzz and also TEDx.

ISME provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. It is within the campus premises and it is maintained with very good cleanliness. The hostel has laundry, and it provides vegetarian food, the rooms are built to occupy 2 people and it very hygienic and safe.

My interview was face to face. In first-round we had GD and in the 2nd round, we had an interview with 2 faculties. The GD was easy but the interview was complicated. The faculty asked questions about your personal life and academic knowledge. He asked in-depth questions to test your academic knowledge.
