Remarks

Its one of the top colleges in IPU for BBA. If you want to pursue BBA or B.COM you can definitely consider jims kalkaji in top 4 colleges. Also the area in which the college is located is nice and most of the things that one wants in a college life are located in nearby places.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good although i have still not completed it because i am still in the second year but one can say that the teachers and the faculty help students a lot there are many great teachers who tells you to focus on the studies but are also chill at the same time. There are industrial visits every year this time it couldn't happen obviously cause of covid.

Course Fees: INR 314000 per year

Placement Experience

Although i am in the second year but from the seniors what i have heard is that good companies do come for the placements although not offering too much of money but if one does want to get a tag of a good company in their resume then it helps.

College Events

There are a lot of events that continuously take place in the college which gives the students exposure and also the knowledge that one may get by doing only the practical work. Campus life is i think limited a bit because of the infrastructure but one can hangout in nehru place which is the closest place to chill. Extracurricular activities include all kinds of sports and music and dance related activit but mind you there is no ground in the college the team practices in the ground near the college.

Placement Experience:

I didn't take any placements from the college as I wanted to go for higher studies. But my batchmates took the placements and they were placed with decent packages. The companies that came on campus for BBA batch recruitment, mainly the customer-centric role, sales, and operations roles.

The Reality of DU colleges

Placement Experience:

Iam a first year student and i dont know much about the companies visiting our college. But what I know is there are not alot of placement opportunities in the off campus colleges (there are some exceptions). This is also a reason why companies dont come in these colleges for placement. But if you are form the north campus or south campus you can have alot and better opportunities than the off-campus students

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are available but they are significantly needs to be improved. The maximum number of course have only sales department to be filled and after that they don't really care about the interest of the students. Because if which alot of students who admire to go into marketing, they tend to and to sales for the exposure basis.

Placement Experience:

The students of final year become eligable for placement and they have to get register themself in the placement cell. the company like Swiggy and fintech company visit here. The highest CTC offered here is 3.5 lakh and average package ranges here from 2.1 lakh per annum. 70% students are placed here every year and rest secure off campus jobs. For studying in JIMS Kalkaji you can get the form online through their official portal and eligibility is that you have to be graduate. Appication fees is 1000Rs. And application dates are felxible.Regarding reservations the college accept students who gave any competitive exam for PGDM course and last dates are as per the college site which mainly is in end of July. The difficulty level of exam is average. And personally talking about my admission ,it was quite smooth and the faculty was also very knowledgeable and friendly.
