College is one of the first college for this course. Well experienced teachers. Very good practical sections with various lab with functioning apparatus. Have 3 different Aircraft with different types of engine(piston and gas turbine).
Course Curriculum Overview
Corse is well updated, We will get industriyal training through AMO training program which is part of the syllabus. Our college provides AMO training at Bluedart aviation and Air India Chennai. Faculties are well experienced. I would like to mention Mr Basab sir. He is my gas turbine engine instructor. He explains his portions very well. Right now due to covid 19, aviation industry is bit affected,But I strongly beleive aviation industry will rise again.
Placement Experience
Job oppurtunities are now highly affected by covid 19.When jet airways stopped their operation,many of there experienced workers are off the field, They will get first priority in any interview.
College Events
Campus is not up to mark, Because its just a small campus with less than 400 students per year. We have a cultural festival every year and festivals like Pongal and Onam are celebrated every year. There will be participation from students of all class.
Campus Life
Every year, we have an annual sports meet. Theres a basketball court, volleyball court and a football ground where 9 players can play in a team. It has facility to play cricket and badminton also. Theres a Hostel for boys and girls inside the campus. A canteen is also inside the campus, but i dont like the food. Library is quite big, we can find many books related to aviation and engineering.English,hindi, malayalam and tamil Newspaper are also available. Equipments in lab are good and are functioning.
Hostel Facilities
I stayed in hostel for 1 year, after that i moved to a PG. Hostel facilities is not that good. The food which they provide was not good. For students staying in dormetry, they have to use common toilet which is very unhygeinic.
