Field work and interested in forestry and development sector, focused more on practical knowledge with extensive field visits and exposure to ground base realities.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was not updated at my time but jow it gas changed for the current batch according to market demand, some faculties are really helpful and has diverse knowledge. Their experiences help us kniw more about real world situation. Case study hase pedagogy is also helpful in learning things.

So far it's good. State rural livelihood Mission, start up like jai kisan, kpmg, kantar, Annapurna, etc. Consultant, young professional, micro finance mangers, supply chain mangers in agro forestry industries. Alumni network is strong and most if the placements are because of alumns

College Events

College has different clubs for organising diverse events. Cultural club organize various cultural activities along with celebrating festivals, drama club organize dramas and movie night, adventure and sports club organise various fun and adventurous activities, nature and photography club organize nature trails and photography competition and many more clubs are there like entrepreneurship development cell, mess committee, etc.

Campus Life

One if the best infrastructure, basketball and badminton court, football ground, updated liabrary, 24*7 functioning computer lab.

Hostel Facilities

It's a residential course. Three hostels are there, two for boys and one for girls. Both hostel has gym facility, one common room with smart TV, double sharing rooms are there, Rooms are equipped with two beds, tables, chair, almirahs and one attach bathroom in girls hostel and sharing for two rooms in boys hostel.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

There is campus placement for MBA students but not for BBA students if anyone wishes to get placed after BBA the college assits them with off campus placement. The average package ranges for from 3 to 5 lakhs and the highest can go upto 10.. almost everybody in the course get placed and record 90% placement.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.

From the 7th or 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. there are too many it companies visited here like TCS Infosys etc. The highest package in this college is 8lpa. From my point of view, this college is not suitable for good campus placement.
