Remarks

Best New IIM in the country with decent placements, average being 15.11 ctc and diverse students. Focussing on extra curriculars & academics both. Good companies do visit IIM-Ranchi. It is GREAT if you get placed in the first 12 to 15 companies. The college also offers the post graduate diploma in human resources.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first year MBA students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Operations Management, Organizational Behaviour & Human Resource Management and Strategic Management.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 16 per year

Placement Experience

IIM Ranchi is the only new IIM to be categorized by T.I.M.E as AAA+ along with older IIMs like IIM I, IIM K, IIM S and few other top B-schools in the country and has also come under cluster 2 colleges of Career Launcher this year. It is worth it !!

The Placement us not too good but not too bad as it provide average package of Around 700000 INR , Student become eligible in 7th Sem for sitting in placement Cell. They need to score 7+ CGPA for become eligible for placement . The highest package was 39 LPA In The Year 2022. Student got placed percentage was 38%.

Placement Experience:

Placements are average here not much to expect. Only expect around 2 lakhs something per annum. Companies visit not so often on this campus, upon completion of degree you have to inform professor that you're willing to sit for placement only then companies will be called. Final semester students are eligible for placements. Other information about placements is not much disclosed by our department. My plans after getting degree is to simply opt for masters degree.

From last year the students are eligible for the campus placements . Most famous named companies are there Accenture, Axis Bank , Infosys, HCL technologies, wipro etc. Highest salary package is 72 LPA this top package has been secured by high performing student Average package is 5.30 LPA. 70 to 77 % of students placement My plans are that I will work under some senior advocates initially and prepare for PCSJ exam.
