Remarks

The good point is that the college is filled with like minded people no politics no racism no ragging you'll hardly see people talking about differences bad points about this college is Campus first of all secondly the leniency is not there and you're likely to encounter an argument regarding you sitting somewhere and taking a day off.

Entrance Preview

I underwent AIPMT and TJEE entrance examinations out of which I scored 180 in AIPMT .I qualified for both but engineering wasn't an option for me because medical field is what intrigued me and regarding AIPMT I qualified but Dental so I opted out.I chose this college because of my cousin brother who passed out from the college doing the same course.I wanted to follow his footsteps plus it was Bangalore so I didn't have a second thought.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course that I'm doing is BCGTBT consisting of Bio chemistry Biotechnology and Genetics this is by far the best combination to opt for since these 3 subjects are the core foundations of Biotechnology. On research perspective this I'd the best to opt for.

Internships Opportunities

Till now I haven't encountered Stipend and internship opportunities however there is a good infux of But companies in the campus during the 2nd and 3rd year of the course.

Placement Experience

1.5

There are about 10-20 But companies that are regular recruiters in the campus but placements happen only during the end of the courses. As far as the recruitment is concerned the influx can be a lot better. Normally food companies and dairy products manufacturing companies handle most of the recruitment's in the college a 7 days placement training takes place in the college including the regular Personality development on every Wednesday helps a lot regarding the recruitment.

College Events

2.5

We mostly have Oxfoignite which is an Intra College fest while there are no inter college fest in our college owing to the small campus that the HSR TOCS has. Rather than that Fresh face competition and Sports day are quite common in between there are filler events that takes place occasionally.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite affordable. You only need Rs.35000 for the admission and extra Rs.10000 donation at some cases. Exam fees are about Rs.850. The expense is quite low and affordable the hostel fee is 78000 which is quite a lot more than the college fee itself but you do get a package of food,College bus and a small bunk room in the hostel. There are no other expenses except the above mentioned figures.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college harbors the ICCR students from abroad and provide government mentioned figures and hospitality to the students the Northeastern students have some certain scholarships too which I have availed the college provides all the government mentioned scholarships till date.

Campus Life

1.5

The college is pretty strict so the college life is kinda confining plus the small campus takes you down even more but the gender ratio is fairly tilted there are an influx of girls more than boys in the college yeah lol but the faculty members also consist of fairly large amount of women the students belong to different caste, creed, races and religion and me being a northeast was never discriminated since people all came to equal grounds and are very down to earth and one more important point is that the college has no political groups which is kinda relaxing.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The Hostel faculty and the mess food are the worst two things to talk about the hostel management is very poor the food is very unhygienic just like the utensils used in cooking them the boys hostel warden is s drunkard and hardly stays at the hostel the girls warden are worse girls in the hostel are barely let out even during an emergency they are made to face certain formalities which will certainly screw up at the end of the day.

Alumni/Alumna

My brother himself was the alumni of the college and I got in because of his advice i don't regret the decision I've made to join the college in some ways but the campus is the negative point of the college we don't really have a good campus to chill around in,no filmy things around expectations and reality were different but study wise its a hell of a climb education matters most her well its acceptable in some ways since the classes fill in for the other banes and yeah you will find of your life here too well just maybe.

Exam Structure

The exams and lab are very hectic.Lab classes and theory classes are very very frequent missing classes have consequences too.Lab manuals are distributed to each student through the cr of the respective sections and completion of the lab records is a must do in the college things get bad if you don't complete them.Do not expect leniency on this matter.

Admission

I firstly called up my brother residing in Bangalore who was a pass out from this college and now holds a good paying job.I always wanted to opt for generalized courses and Biotechnology brought forth a niche in me due to its various newly evolving techniques in altering the living world.

Faculty

2

The faculty consist of pretty well qualified and experienced teachers in their respective fields however it does have some new M.Sc qualified teachers new to the teaching field who are well backed up by the experienced ones the faculty members of each respective subjects are very keen to teach the students the respective subjects so overall it has a good faculty stature.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

Placement Experience:

We will be ready for placements from the 5th semester as we will be given training on interview skills in the 5th semester. There are many companies that visit colleges like PN Rao, Reliance, Tailorman, etc. There are good different profiles offered like merchandising, designing, retail with different packages offered from different companies. There is 100% placements assured from college also we get more options for interviews and companies. I got placed from college in Tommy Hilfiger after my degree.

• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holds a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
