Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is well-designed catering to the latest requirements in the technical fields. But the teaching of basic coding and programing is no acceptable. Only the students who have studied these in school are comfortable rest of the students have to rely on using extra help from friends. Even for CSE departments some of the faculty of PPS and OODP are not competent. Ms Deepa, faculty of CDT department is an amazing faculty. She has taught me twice as a Professional Skills faculty and as a Management Principle faculty and I must say that she has a unique skill of making the class very interactive and positive.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are very much in college. Since the first day we are told about the placement training and education. We have a CDC department which focuses on career training and we are taught subjects like Verbal and Quantitative Aptitude, Management, Professional Skills, Social Skills, etc. The average package in our college is around 4 lakh per annum while the highest package goes up till 32-34 lakh per annum. The highest offers were given by companies like Microsoft and Bhoomi while there are mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.
College Events
There are many events organised in the college in both technical and cultural domains. Aarush and Milan are the popular ones in which thousands of students attend various events during the course of 4 days. The ticket prices range from Rs300-700 approx. and even students from other colleges participate in these events. There are many sports opportunities as well. We have classes on Yoga, NSS, NSO, NCC, etc. and we can play sports such as Badminton, Football, Basketball and Cricket.
