Remarks

It is the topped private university in Uttrakhand that's the reason I choose this university apart from that it's infrastructure is very very fascinating. Almost half of my friends are pursuing degree from this university that is the main reason that i choose this university over any other private university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is fine. Industrial exposure are not such in good amount but labs classes and practical knowledge is given.Faculties are not that very supportive, but are discipline and high qualified alot can be learned from them.

Course Fees: INR 61000 per year

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are abundant various companies visits campus not the big one but the median ones and generally students get placed if they have good command over english language and subjects

College Events

Campus life is fun. Hostels are even more expensive so generally students not prefer to opt for Or manage to live nearby pg's. Various concerts are organised in university as being located in main city concerts are organised in such a big scale that even students from different universities are allowed to join.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Placement Experience:

The college provides a great scope for campus placement this was one of the main reason I took admission here.Form the second last semester the students become eligible to sit for the placement exams.The college have ties with many big companies and MNCS which provides the opportunity for campus placement. The written exam is conducted in the college campus only and the selected students are called for the interview. The main companies that visit Graphic Era Hill University are - 1:TCS 2: Infosys 3: Adobe 4: Google 5: Microsoft The highest package of the college in previous batch was 50 lakhs per annum and the average package was 6 lakhs per annum.Tough the college does not guarantee 100 percent placement but most of the students get campus placement the percentage would be around 80% . My plans after completing my degree is to get a job as a financial assistant and gain some experience and then pursue MBA .

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
