Overall college is very good as you get personal attention and has many recreational activities only downside is hostel and food.

There is personal interview required with principal for admission and there is no need of entrance exam like JEE & BITSAT.

The college is in association with Bharathiar university and Centennial college, canada so the college follows both syllabus. There are subjects like housekeeping, front office, Food production, F&B service, English and french in semester 1. Every once a week there is practical class for F&B service and Food Production. There is Continental Food production in 1st semester which includes dishes like pasta, noodles, cake,etc F&B service includes table setup, service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Bread and Butter service,etc. There are only basic things we learn in 1st semester.

There are two major internship in 3 year period. One is six month period internship and another is four month period First internship is in 3rd semester in which we have to work in four departments (Front office, housekeeping,food production, F&B service) Another internship is in 5th semester in which we have to work in any one of above four departments. Apart from this there is regular weekend training in hotels like Taj, holiday inn and fortune court every Saturday. They provide internship to 5 star hotels like Marriott, Taj, leela, etc anywhere in India.

Placement are pretty good they have tie-ups with hotels like heritage inn, club Mahindra, le Meridien, Taj, sterling resort, etc. Starting salary that one could expect is around 15000-18000. Apart from this there is also chances of getting placed abroad in countries like Maldives & dubai.

There are many events like college and inter-college competitions like culinary king competition, Sports competition, talent hunt competition,etc apart from this there are also outdoor catering services through which student get paid for their service.

The fee structure is affordable but little expensive than IHMs Fees for first semester is 1,25,000/- Fees for second, third, fourth,fifth & sixth semester is 80,000/semester This fees includes tution fees ,transportation fees, practical fees, mess and lodging fees.

100% Scholarship students who have obtained a score of 90% or above in the 12th std. or equivalent qualifying Examination will be given a 100% concession in the first semester tuition fee as scholarship 50% Scholarship students who have obtained a score of 85% or above in the 12th std. or equivalent qualifying Examination will be given a 50% concession in the first semester tuition fee as scholarship.

Campus life is very good, they have ground for football & cricket and provide membership for Anna stadium gym which is located 1.5 km from hostel there are very less girls Completed to boys girls boys ratio is 1:4 there is no partiality regarding race, relegion, ethnicity, sex.

In hostel each room accommodates two students. Hostel is clean but there is no WiFi. Food is not so good but it's eatable they provide chicken two times a week Hostel fees is 1,10,000 per year but I advice you to rent a room outside instead of staying a hostel.

Seniors are very supportive and provides good information regarding hotel industry by their experience.

Exams are usually conducted in college campus and examiners come from university during semester exams and practical exams are are also conducted in college lab. Labs can be sometime very tiring because you have to do practical work straight 5 hrs apart from this it is not so difficult.

I have to say that faculty are very strict regarding grooming and discipline and anyone can get punished easily.They give personal attention to each and every student. They are very professional in their respective subjects and show great interest in teaching. They explains everything in detail and with examples so everyone can understand properly.
