Remarks

SDM College is one of best Management College in Mangalore. College has been ranked with A Grade by NAAC (2017) and college does not have big campus because the college only provides UG/PG Courses. SDM College is owned by Dr. D Veerendra Heggade (SDM.E.Society Ujire) College provides BBA, B.Com, BA(HRD) for UG and MBA in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Banking and Insurance where a student have an option to opt dual specialization.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA is not easy. The University updates the syllabus every 5 years and the college tries its best to update the topics and share it to the students. The college have best lecturers who holds Ph.D for MBA Lectures and are very helpful and friendly. 5 Industry Visits are conducted every year and Internship facility is also provided for those who want it. College gives AC Classrooms and classes are done through PPT which are Audio-Visual Learning.

Placement is great in the college. Atleast of 90% final year students are placed with Maximum Salary of 13 LPA was offered. College provides Pre-placement talks by the company so that students get some idea about it. College conducts Alumni meet every year for Final Year students to get to know more about the Corporate World. The Placement cell of the college is very active and helpful when needed.

College Events

Campus life is awesome. We get to use new items, furnitures etc. College conducts 2 Annual Fests and from all over the country other college students participate. Last year 40 colleges registered for 7 events.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College provides various Merit based and Sports based scholarships to students and also special scholarships are given to 7 sister states.

Campus Life

Campus is not big but Infrastucture is excellent. College buys new furnitures every 2 year so that students should not face any problems in using them. Sports Facility, Cultural Facility are available. There are 3 labs and one large Library where thousands are books, CD's are available. The Campus has Wi-fi facility to students as well as lecturers.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I visited Tree Hub. The percentage of students getting placements is 100% for its pg courses. After getting a degree career plans includes entering a reputed company or having a work experience.
