SDM THE DREAM COLLEGE

Likes

The canteen of the college is good only because it's situated in the law building
The parking facility is so superb that the whole ground is covered everyday
No sports nor education is given importance here

Dislikes

The principal isn't a good person she doesn't know the common communication skills to communicate with other human beings
There aren't proper facilities required for proper education
No one cares what you do as long as u have paid the fees

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only reason that i opted to study BBA was that I wasn't given a seat for BCA as i was a little late for admission and that the principal was too lazy to make amends even i though I've scored 86 percent in my 2 PU Board Exams

Likes

I like a Cultura program and sports and need for improvement students participating in program
I like parking place and basement place in my college
I like My college class room and auditorium

Dislikes

I don't like wash room and canteen place
I don't like food in my college and place
I don't like college timings and some regulations

Lecturers really good, they teach very well, but the administration staffs are rude
College campus is very nice and beautifull
faculty's are really nice, If we need any help they will give their 100% support to us

Dislikes

College administration staffs are very rude to college students

All the teaching staffs were good and well taught to everyone
Social interaction and campus was really good, all the teaching and non teaching staffs were good
Teaching methods are good but still they need to improve it for the understanding of student

Dislikes

The college does not have many events and no extra activities
Quality and the campus are good but that place is small
All the things are good but still they need to improve their campus

Sdm is well known for bba course so I had to go with bba teaching methods are good but we still need more time to understand the course and be a part of it this the first year still 2 more years to go

Good College for students looking for more exposure to practical knowledge.

Likes

Extra curricular activities organised by the different associations.
Management college fests, Genesis and Synergy organised by the college

Dislikes

Less internship opportunities provided by the placement

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in the final semester of the final year. The major company visiting this year was Accenture with 40 students getting offer. Highest package was 300000 and the average was 200000.

I liked the teaching faculty.They are very student friendly
The infrastructures were really good especially the library facility
Not only academics teh students have scope in other areas also

Dislikes

The placement is actually good but this year only few students got placed
There is a small playground in the college
The lab facilities are not up to the mark

The students become eligible from the 6th semester and there are many placement talks conducted to enhance the knowledge of the students about different companies. The highest package now offered is about 6-10 lacs and the average package is 3 lacs. 60% of students get placed in the college. My plan is to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Placement Experience:

Placements are good you see 7 8 big companies coming to college or calling students from college and having a good salary too. Wipro,accolade,infosys ,surya. The highest is 6 lakhs and avg is 3lakhs. 60% of the students are getting placed.

Remarks:

SDM College is one of best Management College in Mangalore. College has been ranked with A Grade by NAAC (2017) and college does not have big campus because the college only provides UG/PG Courses. SDM College is owned by Dr. D Veerendra Heggade (SDM.E.Society Ujire) College provides BBA, B.Com, BA(HRD) for UG and MBA in Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Banking and Insurance where a student have an option to opt dual specialization.

Remarks:

It's one of the best college in Mangalore with best faculty, plenty of cultural activities and events takes place. There are compitition conducted in state and national levels. Have beautiful surroundings with library, lab, learning resources facilities.
