I was not able to qualify IIT JEE and I did not dropped my year for preparations.But I made it for UPSEE. As this was a good state government college and ranked first in UPSEE colleges and I got my favourite branch i.e. Electronics and Instrumentation which is a side branch of Electronics and Communication. And, this is a new branch which most of the colleges are not offering.

When I was in 1 year some subjects were removed from our curriculum but it's heard that coming session will have those subjects. As of industrial exposure we have to apply for internship on ourselves. Academics is good, faculty is fine but that will makes sense only when students study on their self, without that faculty can't make any difference.

Companies comes here for placements and there are some mass recruiters like TCS and students also go for off campus placement. Apart from this students prepare for CAT and GATE too and from my branch (EI) many students grabbed under 50 and under 100 ranks in GATE and I don't know correctly about other branches.

Untill my two year journey of college technical fest was not held due to sone reasons. But other fests were held. Our college held the state level of Pravah-19 which is AKTUs cult fest. There are branch fests too which is full of thrill and joy and students participate in them with full excitation.

Infrastructure is fine but college management is improving it day by day.A new Sports Complex is under construction which will soon be completed, wifi is also good. Library is also good, where we can find many books of our interest and we are even equipped with e-libraries with e books etc. Well I have not visited all the labs of our college but in physics lab sone equipment are not up to the mark otherwise it's good.And we have a auditorium too.

Overall hostel is fine except some problems that we face sometimes. Hostel rooms intially seem too be small but it's fine for 4 students. The cleanliness of our rooms were our responsibility. Mess food is not good as compares too home cooked food but it's food than other messes. We got breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Hostel facilty is easy to avail.
